I dont think i am paid enough for mr level.
When i first worked at aberdare it was good for the first 5 -7 years but after that the pay grade was not increased. i was the only driver for the company and i was no longer allowed to work overtime. Which is why i now want to leave the for another company. Ihave been doing my work very good doing deliveries without accident for 12 years going as far as johannesburg and coming back safe and having done the job but i was never appreciated for my work. It nice working at aberdare as the company but over the years my department has been transffered from ine person to the next and i have had to deal with different people everytime as they came and took charge.
Pros: Not allowed opportunity to grow.

Aberdare cables is a excellent learning industry
the part that i enjoy working at the current company is we always work under pressure .it builds a great working experience as for such busy companies an individual should be able to manage pressure and respond quick to breakdowns

Excellent Stepping Stone
Great opportunity for young individuals entering the employment market and looking to gain experience. This is a company which you will fall in love with and find a hard time leaving but each company has its flaws.

I am highly competent,motivated and Qualified metal Fabricator(boilermaker)with 3years experience.I am flexible and hardworking with a positive attitude.Well organized and work pro-actively to provide timely,efficient and accurate maintenance and fabrication services.Proven ability to generate innovative ideas and solution to problems even under significant pressure.

Excellent training company
With the working hours and working conditions Aberdare is a good training company as an apprentice I've learnt a lot from the machines and fellow co workers.

Excellent learning experience
Fault finding and fault rectification on plc, vsd and motors. Wiring testing and commission electrical equipment. Mange modification to existing equipment and new installation projects. Use hand and power tools applicable to trade.

Dedicated worker
I work in a male dominant environment which does have its pros and cons. There is so much to learn yet not the right guidance and opportunities are given. I enjoy my work and enjoy learning new things.
