Working at absa it's a good experience that any individual who is employed there not who wish to work there would enjoy and learn a lot.one gets to work with different people with great different mindsets and ideas that help in making the business within the company grow bigger and bigger on daily basis.the employees have respect ;integrity,energetic and dedicated to the company and clients and tgsts what I also learnt while still a member of the company. I also enjoyed working teams and assisting each other though one can be challenged ;I always try hard to calm myself and try to find a solution befire i can take any matter further ti seniors when i am challenged with a collegue who does not co operate in team work.
Pros: Well since I was under contract;I didn't get any chance for a permanent job which were not put on advert
Cons: I prefer working hours to keep my work in line

Excellent experienxe
I have gained a lot of experience and skills.I was trained in all products. We had a food relationship with other department/divisions such as Sales Consultants,Tellers,Customer Services and Business departments,collaboration as well.I was also involved in the Branch when it comes to ther events. Most challenging event was competition when it comes to some products but from certain Sales consultants.

Good developer
It was a great opportunity with a lot of benefits but it was just time to move on, I have been exposed to a great new world of hard-core economy. I made good friends as well as those who didn't like me enough. I have learned how to be independent and hard to my self and be aggressive to opportunities presented to me. What I found challenging were the targets that were provided to me to achieve, although, I did achieve most there were those that humbled me.

Knowledge leadership and growth
I work well under pressure, my environment is all about sales and there is pressure i work well with my co-workers i am at time in a position where i have to lead the team but in doing so i learn alot from team members. The most challenging part is to be very aware and vigulent for fraudulent clients and money laundering. I ts great to be part of a team that allows you to share ideas and give your opinions. I enjoy meeting different people and giving them excellent serves that makes them come back to the branch, building long term relationships. In saying all that there is days with aggrivated clients due to system issues or incorrect documentation but to keep the client calm and really listen attentively is key.
Pros: If you work hard and prove yourself you are recommended.
Cons: We work corporate hours not really a concern however not much growth in retail for me.

Excellent with clients/staff /office work/ buildings etc
a Typical workday starts with being at the branch at 06h00 and planning day/ week ahead ,staff meetings at 08h00 , opening of branch with security in place at 08h30 . Walk through branch / building to interact with staff and see to hygiene/cleanliness of departments and building overall, OH & S . Attend meetings when required with contractors and senior management. Ensure that staff training are done as scheduled and according to learning paths on system according to specific roles. Do departmental audits and daily checking . Meet with clients whenever assistance are needed or complaints that has to be dealt with.

Cons: No more opportunity for promotion

I enjoy working at Absa Bank. I have a good relationship with my team members and colleagues. I have learnt to mentor, supervise, manage, sales, great customer service and work independently. I enjoy driving sales.

I need new challenges. I feel smothered in my current job
My daily tasks consist mostly of reconciling the departments general ledger accounts. I must manage the cash for the branch and see that I clear the excess money on a daily basis. I must also manage the cash requirements for the ATMs. I also stand in for the teller controller by authorizing transactions for the tellers. I also work on counter as a teller and enjoy the interaction with clients the most. My other responsibilities are to manage or foreign currency stock for the branch and order and clear currencies that needs to be cleared or ordered, I also work closely with the Foreign department to issue and receive currency from them. I work well in my team and treat all other staff with respect. I learn everyday new things as everything changes constantly. The most challenging aspect of my work is to manage cash, because I don't have control over clients depositing large amounts of money.
Pros: Pros for a new job: I can meet new people and learn someting new.
Cons: We are not getting paid well enough for the hours we have to put in

Acquired Knowledge and Experience
- I plan my task according the amount work we have in the team and first tackle the task that will require more time preparing in the morning. - I am the go-to guy in the team, we have a good working relationship with my colleagues. - I have learnt how to separate work issues from personal issues and conflict of interest. - I enjoy working towards a deadline as one can measure their strength, success and easy to see what work well for us as individuals. - Fraud prevention and prevent losses in the business.

well know been around for over 50 years good reputation I work well with my co workers I have learn a lot moved from branch to head office I enjoy working with people my company is compromising of diverse people Your review is not to sell yourself or give your job description (your CV does that)!
