Work days cover strategy development, business development, staff utilization, human relations, mentoring, guidance, motivation, reporting, and financial accountability and system compliance on quality and performance. Staff relations are challenging in tough business environment, but still very good in general. I have learnt that the current business environment is tough and that good leadership is needed to guide us through. What I most enjoy is developing a strategy for success by focusing on good prospects for the future Having no control of the current market and keeping staff motivated is very tough

Excellent developmental path

Good Learning environment
AECOM is good for learning but unfortunately growth in the company is limited. Because it is a big company and decisions are made by multiple parties not involved in the day to day runnings, good people are passed over for recognition and this can be disheartening.

( Health and Safety )
HighlHighly paced working environment with lots of paper worker to be done before any work commences. Co workers are always looking forward to get the work but sometimes do not like paper work. also learnedt that Safety id everyone responsibility because at the end f the day we all need to go home to our families.Most challenging is when a worker does not not care about health and safety at the work and he needs to be coached about it to instill a safety culture.y paced working environment with lots of paper worker to be done before any work commences. I have been working for Aecom for the last year and previous for Aup in San Francisco and Abu Dhabi. .. I have good international experience in building services design specifically focused on fire alarm system design.
