Excellent corporate environment

Busy corporate legal department. Day to day is very busy. Recoveries and collections keep me going. Reports are prepared. I enjoy my job but I am looking to grow.

My daily Responsibilties at Airliqide

Capturing orders for Polokwane and Witbank customers, received via telephone and emails Processing rush orders for walk in customers for both regions at the branch, and print their delivery notes. Liaising with finance department for releasing of orders and blocked accounts. Advise customers of their deliveries if asked and also calling customers and inform them about their deliveries and non-deliveries. Attend to customer’s queries and solve them Process manual delivery notes on SAP for ( Medupi) customers , occasionally process for Witbank and Polokwane if there was no electricity. COD for LPG Creating STO for Medupi and Khusile Preparing New Allocation “229” request form and handover to relevant people. Prepare cheque requisitions for vendors and Proof of transmittal receipt ( monthly).

Cons: Working 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week and 160 hores per month and have 1.50 leave day per month

Great facility

On a daily basis I manage all contractors on site, Include all permanent contractors on site as well as coming to conduct work on site. I also conduct all training, medical induction control for all employees and contractors. I manage and control all safety checks and confirm all legal requirements according to the Act. On a monthly basis I conduct a safety meeting and control all weekly Toolbox talks. As a internal audit i also control all internal and external audit and make sure all finds are closed out. For quality control I manage all documents used in the facility is the current revision and manuals are updated if need be.

Pros: Good indistrie to work in and working with people.
Cons: Time manage is always a priority.

Excellent learning curve,

A typical work day would be to run and control the plant, monitoring the work done and planning on how to meet the Daily demand. I have an unbreakable bond with my co-workers, we work together well and help each other wherever we can. I have learnt to monitor and successfully run the plant, Learnt about the Dissolved Acetylene Plant. I have also learnt Leadership skills for i was acting as a supervisor.

Perfect learning experience

Good gas environmental working experience.

I have a good working relationship with co-workers whereby each person greet each other daily. We solve the production problems together as a unit. The people are more than willing to help in your area of concern.

Excellent corporate, risk and collection exposure

Corresponding with attorneys, customers and business rescue practitioners. Handling and administration of liquidation and business rescue matters. Management of the pre-legal and legal collection. Drafting Letters of demand, offers of settlement and reduced settlement. Liaising with attorneys. Resolution of all legal queries. File Maintenance of all legal Files. Write offs

Nice company to work for, to many changes the last two year. A lot of people resign

N/A- I would rather not say anything online. The are benefit but the past years, a lot happed that talented people left the company, hopefully the new Senior Manager team can re revive the employees
