Daily routine: I hold status meetings in the morning, where I allocate work to be done and also a platform to iron out any issues that the team are facing Reviewing of data and compilation of reports and SOP's

A wonderful Work Experience
I went through training for 6 months in Physiology and Anatomy. Studied various diseases and their treatment using Aspen medication. I completed formative and summative assessment and passed all the examinations as required. The next 6 months I was on field selling and marketing Aspen products, brands and it's values. I called on various GPs, Health care professionals and Pharmacies. I completed daily log reports, submitted weekly and planned weekly and monthly work schedules. Around July 2016, I attended the Aspend Annual Sales Conference. It was a professionally well planned conference where I got to network with various employees of Aspen. The people are very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and exciting social beings as after the conference I got to wine, dine and dance with various company executives. The people are well cultured, passionate and very nice to be around with. I enjoyed working at this company.

Wide range of occupational exposure
It's a little over five years now in the same job, and I need a change in environment. It's a nice place to work in. Sometimes Management can play a role in an employee's development (either good or bad) and I feel like opportunities for growth are considered only for certain individuals. All these years here, my overall admin skill have sharpened, as I have multi-tasked from department to department in the same office. All in all, my day to day comprises of sitting in front of the PC, and running around for management final approval for documents. The most challenging part is when documents are due / overdue and a certain manager gives a hard time to finalise approval. We have created a great working ambience in the office, as our interaction is excellent. Socially - we eat lunch together, and on most Friday's we'd order food from outside the company. Professionally - we handle misunderstandings in a professional manner, and try to handle whatever comes our way as a team.
Pros: Multi-tasking in diverse departments
Cons: Less opportunities for promotion. No overtime in our department.

Seeing our products on pharmacy shelves and taking pride in knowing that they are of good quality
A typical working day at the company I work hectic, everything is urgent and quality is very important as well, there are a lot procedures to follow and we can't afford to deviate from them because a patient's life might in danger if we deviate. I work for the most difficult department which QA Compliance which means my job is to ensure that all the procedures are followed even though people often get angry when you point that they are deviating from procedure.In our department, we often have to make decision based on quality and the business side of things which often makes me feel like I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. My relationships with my team and our supporting departments are good, even though there might be conflicts from time to time.My most enjoyable moment about my job is getting a quality product to the customer, that gives me the utmost pride.
Pros: It's a diverse company that keeps on growing everyday and there are great opportunities for growth
Cons: Environmental conditions-since we're making medicine there are certain environmental condition that you can't deviate from and long working hours.

Central Finance intern
Working at Aspen Pharmacare as an intern had been an amazing experience, most importantly, educational. Team work is essential and the core of the day to day. There is opportunity for practical experience at its best. I've learnt cash book, Accounts Payable and Fixed assets responsibilities. The challenges faced, are faced especially during the financial year end include fast paced accuracy with no room for mistakes. I love the variety I experience as an intern. It's very insightful.

Excelent place to learn how to work under pressure
always busy, deadlines left right and centere. tasks are always urgent. for a huge company. there is alot to do with minimul resources and tight bugdets for learning and development courses. opptunities in Regulatory for growth is little unless working as a pharmacist.

Good learning opportunity but need to be able to swim otherwise you will sink. V
Large workload with large product portfolio. Currently manage around 35 brands. Responsible for all aspects of the brands, including forecasting supply, stock management, sales, strategy, customer relationships. Also responsible to analysis new brands to market and completed P&L's. Work on 3rd party brand which require quarterly review meetings.

Exceptional attention to detail
I have extensive experience in Administrative roles and perform at my bestdesk under pressure. pay attention to detail which is imperative within an admin position as this role requires utmost perfection and minimal error.

Great learning opportunity
Working at the company has been a great opportunity for me because it exposed me into the working environment for the first time. I got to learn about the working environment and how it integrates persons of different backgrounds in order to have them all working together in order to achieve the organisation's goals

Excellent Learning curve
Excellent company to work for. I enjoyed learning the manufacturing process of tablet making and packing. I also enjoy the department I'm currently doing contract work in. I am just in need of stability and looking for a permanent, more involved with first-end customer, client or service orientated environment. I get along well with everyone in my Department and we make a great team. It is just a bulk to get through in a month to do reporting on.
