Excellent way of growing my career and leaning

I have eager to learn, I believe that will helpe grow my career and grow within the company. Since I've worked in sales driven position I believe I will cope very well and bring out the best to the company, I'm willing to learn and teach what I know ul to so far

Great experience

Learning many tasks at once, chance to get cash awards if achieved set targets are made, learning opportunities in banking, long hours without paid overtime

It's a very stressful environment because one has to worry about targets on a month-to-month basis. Also it can get quite boring doing the same thing on a daily as there's nothing new and exciting to look forward to on the job. It does, however, teach us to be thinkers and keeps us on our toes in terms of creating business and getting referrals to help meet your targets. A lot of the employees, including myself, do feel that the company is so focused on the clients being satisfied that it doesn't pay much attention to the happiness and well-being of its staff members. Growth at Capitec is being promoted from ATM Assistant to Client Service Champion to Service Consultant to Assistant Branch Manager to Branch Manager (branch-based growth which is not beneficial for someone who doesn't want to work within a branch). The better the position management-wise, the more stressful, based on observation and conversation with management.

Pros: Learn to work independently, quarterly increase based on individual performance, quarterly incentive based on branch performance, set working hours
Cons: No guaranteed '13th cheque' (employees receive a bonus based on company performance by financial year end. Bonus may be received and it may not be received and is usually much less than 100% of salary), very stressful environment, no company benefits, no medical aid

Excellent Learning and Development experience

This has been an excellent learning curve as I have had many years working experience in production environments; and this being my first in a financial corporate environment. I have gained invaluable working knowledge and skills in corporate governance and budget planning, forecasting and controlling. I also learnt and developed my knowledge and skill in a computer based incident reporting and maintenance management system; namely S-Track It has truly been a great learning and development experience for me; for which I am eternally grateful

Cons: When one is not used to red-tape it could get frustrating

Great and excellent skills development manager

It is a great place to work in. The skills one develops has helped in many ways possible. Meet different types of people everyday has helped in understanding people's daily needs and how to help them live better. Colleagues and Management are excellent team that one can always have an coefficient team work.

Excellent development

The company has great incentive initiatives if you and your branch meet your targets every quarter. A quarter is divided into 3 months. Then your salary can increase every 3 months

Pros: PA = personal awards and TA=team awards
Cons: Long hours. One day off a week

Good company

Good day At my current occupation we are constantly challenged which is good. Ensuring that the service given satisfies our clients, putting our clients first. This is a normal 07:30 to 16:30 job and is based in the CBD. Trust is of utmost importance to ensure that we work towards the same goal and give continuous feedback and hold each other accountable. I've learned that one cannot work in sylos but that we need to work together to ensure we are aligned. I enjoy that we are always pushed to be our best all the time. N improve yourself. Monitoring change and the impact we have on the contact center and the Agents.

Pros: Great balance between work n life.
Cons: No growth

Work smart not hard

I am a har worker. I enjoy a new challenge and I am always keen to learn. I'm a team player and always try my best to do my best. I am energetic and friendly. Know how to work with clients. I am a very punctual person, and has my work done on time.

Pros: I have learned a lot and grow a lot. It's a great stepping stone to start one's career.
Cons: The hours wasn't that good, as well as the benefits wasn't on standard
