Professional company
City property is a well established company to work for. They offered skills development training and there are opportunities for promotion. Work days are quite busy and challenging, handling difficult customers, account queries, collecting and handling administration. I also had supervisory experience. One has to be very firm and at the same time passive. I loved working as a team, as our brainstorming together produced good ideas in handling difficult customers.
Pros: Great opportunity for promotion. Skills development training are available
Cons: Miscommunication with manager and staff. Division between black and whites

Skills gained: Administration,accurate Attention to detail Typing skills Customer relationship Ability to work under pressure Deadline driven _ good planning Assertive It is a deadline driven environment,processing tenant's new leases,commercial,parking and residential leases in time for tenants to get monthly statements on time. Deadlines for capturing leases a d creating debit orders for tenants on the system. Processing instructions from other departments to either process transactions or amend ten at details on the system. The most challenging part is balancing work with different tasks or documents to process everyday

Great experience
I enjoy my work because I am the only one doing my job. My daily task is basically upload COJ and Ekurhuleni municipal invoices, following up on the meter readers, logging technical queries for property and building managers. Query account with the municipalities, do reconciliation on account discrepancies. Help credit controllers with tenant’s invoices. I am a people’s person and get along with everyone, I am eager to learn and helping others do their work, management give acknowledgment for work well done. Work together we achieve much better. I realise daily that you learn new things everyday, that is if you willing to empower yourself. I enjoy my job because I know I am good at what I am doing. Biggest challenge is with the municipalities, I don’t think they really know what they are doing, or people are not getting training on how to sort out billing errors. I normally say they don’t speak billing language, but I also learn to take it one day at a time.

My current job assesment and remuneration and working conditions
my day includes unpaid weekends and after hours and includes supervising writing job specs for contractors and also sometimes guiding other colleagues as well as doing some contractors work like painting which was challenging as it was outside my job description

I'm patient, someone who like to share my experience with others, hard worker whom I likes going extra miles and I believe in team work. A group leader, a building manager with 10 years experience whom I was handyman and at this time I'm a senior building manager commercial.
Pros: 2009-2010 I was handyman, 2010 promoted to residential building manager, 2016promoted senior building manager

Excellent learning opportunity
I give off my best to any task give to me. I work independently as well as part of a team. Deadline are set and cam be challenging but with determination and a focused mind one can achieve great heights. I enjoy interacting with tenants, cementing internal and external relationships.
