People and customer focused environment
Compass Group training internal staff & have accreditation to do with various SETA...my role is not only limited to that of coordination. I have had the experience of preparation for external verification for learnership qualifications. At this stage, I have the knowledge of managing a project from the discretionary grant funding application to handing out a certificate to a learner. I have a team of two administrators which are excellent and highly competent to ensure that attendance registers are captured, invoices submitted to the SETA and that managers and learners are aware of their next training. My role is to ensure that there is no disconnect between operations and training, that all logistical ossues are resolved if any. My approach is proactive, I prevent issues before they arise to ensure that there is minimal disruption in the business and when learners/delegates are attending training.

Compass group is very strict when it comes to health and safety environment which employees go through training about it, and that gives more information and health and safety. I have learned to delegate work so that time management can be achieved.

Good place to learn.
I am not impressed my salary i received per Month, compare to the job i have and i need to each week. sometimes to recieve your salary and for them to make it right you have to go for a long process. They take time, you wait and wait and wait. it is a good place expect the management no respect in employers. I enjoy working with my executive chef there, he encourage me alot to learn more. And i have improve my skills as a chef learning new things. Company has given me a great experience and i will use what i have learn in any other job i will recieved. i am looking forwad to learn more things in other companys

Excellent learning curve and building relationships
Its a very challenging but enjoyable job. Reconciliation of supplier accounts from their statement to our ledger. Very depending on what the units did and did not capture. You have to closely with both the unit staff and supplier. There for you need to have excelent relationship with both parties. Coworker's is a very important pillar in the work area and we work as a team very well. Supporting each other on a daily basis. Accuracy is very important as it gives the financial side a good reflection of the business financial side from the creditors side.

Workplace is where one learn of different cultures, traditions, personalities and tastes etc
On a normal day like Monday morning I arrive at work we clean up, prepare for a new week set up tables receive bookings for the day. My relationship with co-workers is very good as I am easy guy to work with. I have learned to work with different personalities i.e short tempered, loud, opinionated individuals etc. Because I am a calm person I enjoy when there is a crisis/ complain from a customer I handle it with ease. When there is a customer who just don't like you. You simply provide the best service you can and leave the alone.
Pros: I am fast learning person, ambitious for growth, Please look at my CV for reference.
Cons: I have worked in the Hospitality industry, I have worked long hours.
