Excellent experience

I am a college graduate at Damelin Bramley College. I studied diploma in Human Resource Management. I will further my studies in future for degree. Well I dont have much work experience , but I did assist the sales team in college to gain experience I was also an assistant at the Academic team of damwlin college I like the work environment, you learn more skills and earn a good working relationship I have learnt a lot in the working environment its different from school I have gained more skills in computing, and filing it really wasnt difficult it was simple and enjoying It was a voluntary programme at tertiary institution

Growth

work overload and little salary. Its very nice to work with my colleagues because we encourage each other to study so that we can grow. What is not nice about working here as a Lecturer is that when schools are closed, we sit here and do nothing and no time off.

Damelin College gave me an opportunity to do short course in Sales and Marketing to up skill myself

I take Damelin as non-racial institution, employees are treated equally. Working hours are normal during the week its 08:00 am to 16:30 pm and on Saturdays 08:00 am to 12:00 pm. Damelin employees are friendly their made me to feel at home when I started here and we built that brothers and sisterhood relationship, even those who left we are still in contact because of the way we treated each other, even my other colleagues in other departments are friendly. What I learnt here is teamwork, trusting your teammate so that we can keep the business going. I enjoy our team buildings because that's were we know each other. The challenging thing about the job is making your target as individual and as Team but get affected because of other campuses that are under performing, which resulted to retrenchment and we lost some of our colleagues.

Cons: Working hours are normal, if you are asked to work on Saturday they give you an off day during the week.

It is a good learning experience even though there are challenges

• Co-ordinate & assist with compilation of assessments • Supervise record keeping & archiving of student information • Assist & co-ordinate the transition to the new assessment methodology • Student records and academic monitoring • Manage relevant programme • Direct participation in teaching, learning and research activities • Aligning specification of programmes • Development of curriculum • Conflict management working face to face with student daily coordinating the smooth running of the full time and part time courses Most challenging aspects: there are no benefits and no bonuses

Pros: its a good learning experience , even though there are minor challenges
Cons: company does not close at all

Excellent Learning Curve

I have an adequate amount of experience that I have obtained thus far, but I am always eager to improve my knowledge and skills and I believe that I can do so at your company within the required position. Great place to learn how to grind out sales.

his is a place to work if you are desperate for some form of employment. No opportunities for promotion. No real responsibilities. The company culture is terrible.

Pros: You will learn patience.
Cons: Due to the reputation and market placement of the company, convincing people to join can prove tricky. Management also tends to leave you in the dark.

Excellent learning field

working for damelin college is quite exciting because it helps in improving communication skills, this needs a very patient character and a good listener. and working with a team helps grow knowledge and have an open mind, for me everyday is a challenge and i take it as it comes. preparing your emotions works best because you deal with every response you get from prospects. the challenge is separating work and social life you cant talk to prospects while in a bad space that could give bad energy for the presentation and not make sales. . considering also the product knowledge it is important to approach clients if you know your products or services because you are able to convince them to buy or use your products and easy to answer any questions they may have concerning your products. knowing the right market is also helpful you approach the right people, within the correct segment
