No work life balance, always chasing deadlines, long working hours

The company seem to care more about the work delivery than its people . The working hours are too long , there is no work life balances, the Human Resources needs to be looked into because there are too many processes leading to employees working excessive hours.

Bayathandwa Shembe holds a B Degree in Information Systems from the University of Zululand and Diploma in IT She joined Deloitte Consulting as a Junior Analyst in 2009, and through her quality work and excellent client manner – held the position of Analyst for two years, ending September 2012 which is the was the end of her contract .Then later on She joined uMhlathuze Municipality Working as Administrator from during the period of 2012 to 2013 then was offered Consultant Position again at Deloitte , I has had exposure to multiple client situations – with her clients including PSETA, AGRISETA, TETA and HWSETA ,WRSETA She now holds Senior Analyst position at Deloitte where she is a Client Line Manager for FPMSETA.

Great learning curve in early years; abundant opportunities for travel before department I was in was restructure; relatively easy to move around and shape your own career; salary is not on par with the market

Not much upward movement available

This employer expects a lot for what they pay; opportunities for upward mobility are limited, and employees tend to need to look outside for career growth opportunities.

Cons: Extremely long days and not much bonus potential / not transparent about remuneration
