Gaining skills that one can use for the rest of their lives
A typical day involved managing the day to day needs of the office, checking my emails to see if there are any qurieaccount queries so that adjudtments and other accounting entries can be processed. I'm liaison officer between Partners and the clients. I had a very good relationship with my colleagues we worked as a team. I learnt a lot from Deloitte, I started as junior clerk, after a few promotions to a Financial administrator, Senior managent and colleagues were very supportive. I enjoy dealing with different scenarios everyday, solving different accounting challenges. Paying attention to detail i is the most challenging aspect of the job, there's very little room for mistakes.

Extraordinary and consistently productive. Daily deliverables measured against personal standards of success. Relationship with colleagues professional & positive. Work with diverse stakeholders across the globe and best practices. Challenge is working 13 - 15 hours daily

Review
I enjoy working in the Compliance field, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skill. My relationship with my colleagues is good, I enjoy working in an open plan environment and getting to know others. I have vast experience (over 14 years in total in Compliance). My work includes looking after Compliance for all the Firms within Africa and therefore extensive knowledge of foreign laws and regulations as well as UK and US legislation.

The culture is very good with respect for others and open to new things.
No work life balance The are long working hours and no pay for overtime. A challenge when it comes to personal time. A good capture based environment with open minded people. The team ms are very small to none.

Job Foundations and Good Learning Curve
Deloitte is a good company to work for, it creates a solid learning environment and provides you with a professional experience. Leadership needs to be more transparent, honest and involved with employees as there is huge gap in this aspect. The culture trend is average.

Excellent learning curve
Review and analysis of transfer pricing policies. Discussions of interpretation of company characterization with directors. Analysis of client financial model to assess reasonableness for servicing debt. Analysis of interaction of various corporate tax sections with transfer pricing. Project status updates with subordinates. WIP management. Proposal drafting and fee negotiations with BPO in India. Flexible working hours, i.e. working from home from 3-5pm.
Pros: Great brand on CV, people inclusive culture, focused on upskilling, open to new ideas.

Excellent working environment and experience
I make a monthly plan both training and collection plan. Start booking venue for training and start preparing modules to cover. Do invitations to schools and start implementation of my plan. Update our online system on training progress daily and upload databases on line during collection week and do errors and quiries after a workshop. I have to manage 358 schools every month and more than 600 admin officers every month and both telephone and office enquiries. I hv to do a monthly report to my managers and weekly report to my office manager on implementation progress and any challenges that I came across.
