Excellent learning curve but I feel like I am stagnating now.
During the past 6 years I leaned a lot at Denel. Currently I feel that I am not challenged any more as I am doing the same thing day in and day out - fault finding on missile systems.
Pros: Greatly flexible hours. Great people relations and culture.
Cons: Career advancement opportunities.

Excellent leaning curve
i have a good learning curve during my career, dealing with people everyday (Customer service) and i have also learned communication with every person and working with them at the same time ad learning from them, i really enjoyed working here but i think its time to go and stretch my wings and do something else.
Pros: i got an opportunity to study and grow my career from admin to finance
Cons: working with numbers you need to be accurate at all times and sometimes its strainers.

Broadening my scope within the Human Resources field
My duties and task include but not limited to : Organizational management ( SAP) Implementing salary increases Monthly reports, Employment Equity, Bridge, Appointments, Terminations Auditor Management I am a reliable, trustworthy individual who will go the extra mile to ensure quality task completion. I am a good team player, but I can also draw strength with focused determination to complete tasks on my own. Through my years of building experience, I have embarked on a huge learning curve by starting out in the Administrative role, leading into the Learning and Development department and truly finding my passion within the HRIS domain. The most challenging aspect on my current position is the implementation of accrue data relating to changes in individuals salary, reporting to our Corporate office also requires precise accuracy ,with no room for error.
Pros: Great oppertunity to broaden my knowledge within the Human Resources field

Great and challenging environment
Typical day for me is to analyse ,study and practice governance in terms of the law i.e PPPFA,BBBEE and section 217 of the SA constitution. Relationship - Team player and willing to help and learn from the other team members . What I have learned - This is not a typical business instead a security ,high-end technology environment which requires understanding and someone whom sharp enough to welcome any challenges as compliance is key to the business. What I enjoy - I enjoy the daily challenges e.g compliance ,sourcing of right suppliers and the complexity of the environment . Most challenging aspect - I see one major challenge is where the SA is government encouraging us as business to procure from local and black owned companies whilst the high-end technology is limited in those two aspects .

Excellent learning curve
my day at work, start with a daily meeting to give feedback on all our supplier the status progress. any issues arising that needs attention. do we still adhere to the plan audit, how many CAR raised. We have a good relationship with co-workers. we are also understand each other's work and we are able to step in when one is not around to do their work. Its always good to have a good relationship with co-workers and your manager. and able to learn and not wait for instruction to do their work, one must be proactive Solving supplier and internally issues. training them on using 8D report. Most challenging is coming to work and not working due to lack of work from our customers
Pros: Great opportunity to grow and get a promotion and they recommend that their employees to go to school to further their studies

Exciting learning enviroment
Our duties in the Integration Division is to test and Integrate all Missile Subsystems, and perform Acceptance Tests before Qualifying the missile to design spec. The tests are done by running simulated aircraft interface signals to check performance of missile interfaces at lab level as if this was on a real aircraft. The tests are done at varying environmental conditions, from room temperature, -40 degrees, +70 degrees, Vibration in X,Y Z axes. Often troubleshooting hardware that fails occupies most of the time. The environment is team oriented and the team is quite unified. I enjoy the pressure that comes and being able to meet deadlines in that pressure.

Excellent learning curve
I work for a state owned company in Centurion and have a good relationship with all people i with. I enjoy working with people, interacting with them, exchanging knowledge in the industry .I also like challenges because that is where i grow in knowledge. I am in the incoming inspection and the most challenging part is when you have to inspect components at suppliers' premises with little portable measuring instruments you will be carrying. I have learnt a lot in this trade having worked for three big companies in SA that has almost all the tools and well advanced machineries.

A strong desire to expand my horizon and learn new skills. To truly put my knowledge to work.
My work involves personal interaction with employees, such as assisting with leave queries, timesheets, ect. Reporting is a key area of my responsibilities and these request are both montly, quaterly and during the auditing period on a daily basis . Reports vary from appointments, terminations , promotions , transfers and most importantly Employment Equity reporting and Skills training. I am quite involved with the onbaording and termination of employees on the SAP system. My work requires good to excellent MS Word, MS Excel and SAP Organizational Management skills. I am involved with the preparation of the Audit Documents for the Annual Salary Increase ( 900 employees ) and the process includes , letters, accurate system updates and finalization till the payroll process.
Pros: Great insight into the business, the ability to extract statistics on the growth and turnover of the company
Cons: No growth
