EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE

Each day at work it came with challenges and new I dear. I have learned how to behave at work, good communication skill and how to work as a team. My relationship with co-worker is very good, I am down to earth and easy person to get along with people. I mostly enjoyed the facts that I keep my job up to date to avoid working under pressure. The most challenging aspects of the job is manage chief director diary as I have to go all her e-mails daily making sure she does not miss hear meeting. I enjoy what I do.

Excellent learning curve

The department open at 7h30 to 16h00 from Monday to Friday. All staff members are friendly and easy to talk to them. I learnt that communication and listening skills are the keys to solve problems. I enjoy conducting site-inspection within the boarders of South Africa. The most challenging aspect of my job is to be taken to court in issues relating to biodiversity.

The daily operations where i work and experiences

My daily working includes reviewing of impact assessment reports where we recommend decisions for applications. We work well with our team - we do not believe in dying alone with a problem especially work related. I enjoy the travelling to different places The most challenging thing about the job is that our decisions are always open to being challenged by the public

Pros: good working ethics
Cons: waking up very early to catch early flights

Dynamic Work Experience

My name is Nontsikelelo Mbanjwa. A typical work day includes admin, report writing, site inspections and meetings. There is time to consult other colleagues on issues and queries. I find other co- workers to be professional and helpful. I've learnt how to write detailed reports, identity non compliances on sites, chair meetings and train stakeholders on best practices to achieve good results. I've enjoyed travelling and being exposed to different environmental problems. I have found that taking on a large number of projects due to shortness of staff whilst meeting deadlines has been the most challenging aspect of the job for me.

Pros: Additional Auditing Experiance
Cons: Working overtime
