A quiet big company that careless of its employees but its production .

I do weekly billings and make sure all weekly accounts are up to date . I follow up with co workers regarding the 45 day accounts as assist with follow ups where they need help I make sure that all monthly accounts are paid on time and follow should there be delays in order to agree on payment terms . I have learnt that its important to have a good relationship with Clients in order to ease communication and they will always make it a priority to pay their invoices on time . I enjoy building a good relationship with my Clients as this make my job more easier . There gets to be challenging times where you have to be firm with Clients in order to get payments and make sure you apply all terms and conditions of their account and ends up to a point where you have to put their account on hold .

Pros: Learnt a lot about paying attention to detail and making sure that you complete your chore without supervision .
Cons: Working very late over month ends and have to arrange your own transport . Company does not care how you got home .

Experience and great people

Dsv has been good to me in terms of my salary, at DSV you also receive a '13th cheque' which I think is fabulous. I was very happy, but unfortunately had to resign due to personal issues. I was in a good environment and working with awesome people. I hope that I will soon find the ideal workplace and meet new people.

Pros: growth opportunity
Cons: none

Learning curve

Exposed to Client's,customers and various departments which enabled me to learn lots. There is a cultural diversity and a great work environment which enables balances of work and life. With all these great stuff, there are no growth opportunities.Managers rather outsource than giving the old stuff opportunities.Employees study,go extra miles, are loyal and work hard to keep a smile on client and customers face but when opportunities arise, they don't even get to the interview.

Pros: Work/Life balance
Cons: No growth opportunities
