My carrer journey until incrdible connection
over the past 9 years i have gorwn as a manager , when i started i manage 5 people and at my pick i managed over 40 employees. at incredible i m a 45 hour worker and with two manager under me . incredible has tought me a difference side of reatil has most of my years where in fashin, difference GP shift , and different customer all together with different maketing attitude. i m a part time motivational speaker this help me get along with most of my team has i believe in buliding them, however have a tough side has over the year i learnet at time thing will have to be done even if it means the hard way .
Pros: the advertage is that, i get to learn a different side of retail and my store is 15km from home the closesset i have ever been to home .
Cons: the compay is not to big wich means less oppotunity to get promoted

I would like to join your organisation get promoted one day.
Some days are not easy you meet difficult customers but i have to come up with a positive solution.i dont mind working long hours. I have a good relationship with my co-workers. i have learn diffirent skills from other peaple. When i see my customer happy i'm also happy. I would like to get promotion one day.
Pros: It is good to work here but i need another job due to company changes
Cons: working long hours is not a problem.

Great opportunity for growth
My Journey at Incredible Connection has began as a receptionist/cashier. My determination to grow in the company has been recognised over the years and I've grown to the point where I became a Supervisor. I worked well with all staff and my door was open to all. Staff members always felt welcomed and had utmost respect for me as there Team leader. We worked well as a team and the end results was very productive. I loved working with my co-workers and we were like one big happy family. Unfortunately, my journey had to end. I was retrenched due to operational requirements. I am now looking for a company where I can give back on all the values, knowledge and skills that I've gained over the years.

Excellent learning curve
A typical day at Incredible Connection was busy pressured due to all the duties one has to do daily from filing to attending to customers. The environment did not give you the opportunity to think about how other people felt about you, so working together was the best thing one could do for yourself and the company. When i came to IC I couldn't work on a till nor did have the ability to do a spread sheet, now I can say that Can do Admin work, I can do filing NEATLY, answer a telephone Formally, update spreadsheets and do online orders. I enjoyed doing the online orders most because i had to work with customers and communicate with other branches. The most challenging aspect about the job was doing spreadsheets as i did not have formal training on it and i had to figure out some stuff on my own

Great Learning Experience
IC over the years has invested a lot in training and development of its managers. I have benefited greatly from this training. It was and remains an equal opportunity Company where the best man for the job gets the job. As a Regional Operations Manager I had the freedom to run my Region with a fair degree of autonomy focusing on driving the Company vision and imperative outcomes. It is a business that has a high degree of accountability but is consistent and fair. Most recently with the current economic times as they are, retrenchments have become the order of the day. Additionally with the role out of SAP the Company has fallen onto hard times as it lacks the IT expertise to maintain a stable platform from which to work. The interference from the JD Group (parent company), then Steinhoff and now the Pep group is very disruptive. This is evident that Only the Ops exec & FD have been with the group for greater than a year.
Pros: Good opportunity for promotion
Cons: corporate culture is not focused around stores and customer service anymore

My every day at incredible
Am a cashier receptionist and a deal with hi finance laybys and Administrative work fileling sometimes a bit of sale when the sale guys a busy sometimes I would help in the stock room with parking and labeling stock my day starts with the spreadsheet and filling then attend customer at the till and switchboard and when when the store is not so busy help in the stock room

Excellent learning
i was a very busy person with my work. why? because there were lots of client that i must work their work before the day. but it wasn't a problem because i was working as a team with my co-workers. we were so friendly. don't make me to remember behind. i have learnt a lots of things. like how to make the company grow. you must be a hard worker working without checking anybody and must complete your work before the day. i was enjoying my work. especially to the customer smile after my work. i was always certify the customer.

Best opportunity to grow my career
It was a challenging job because sometimes you have to find a solution for a customer that doesn't know what is his or her problem and my co-workers were very helpful and informative and what I've learned is to find a solution for any problem and what I enjoyed is meeting with different people with different problems to solve
