Excellent learning curve
As i was a administrator at macsteel service centr for 18 months i handle allaspectsof human resources including managing the hiring process developing training schedules. My high energy personality and interpersonal skills lend themselves well to working with a large staff .my experience along with my personal qualities make me an ideal candidate for your HR administrator position
Pros: Macsteel is a goood company where i learned lot of thing under HR ,printing long service certificate,printing and issuing of IRP5,EFM,organizing employees work files, capturing leave forms on SAP and cronos and leave sheet , capturing IFACTS,Drafting and sending letters to unsuccessful candidates,organising interviews ,inviting candidates who meet requirements
Cons: more flexible workforce the ability to deal with bottlenecks, busy periods, cover of absences and staff shortages without the need to recruit extra staff increased earning for employees and mutual employer benefit avoidance of disruption to jobs where the workload is more difficult to share, eg transport and driving the ability to carry out repair and maintenance which has to be done outside normal working hours

It was a great experience because I was on a learnership
Great working relationship and opportunities are open for everyone. Posts were advertised every month and internal applications were considered first before external applications. Always a room for improvement

Good learning curve
The work we do is mostly production arcelormittal supply wth steel coil and cut and supply companies dealing wth steel, the job i do is read jobcard on wht is requird for me 2 cut and balance the jobcard after cuttng what is requird,I hav learned a lot at macsteel because macsteel is is my first real job and i ve irrrived there as a general assistant and i worked my way as a machine operator but the problem is its a company with not much of opportunities for me 2 grow further than i am at the moment and i feel more exposer, its a good working place ofcos with good people,the most challenging is making sure that the material i cut is what requird by the jobcard

Progressive Growth
WI started working at Macsteel last year on the 1st of February, I was appointed as a Trade coordinator at the Export division. Six months within the internship the company was restructured as a result I moved to the Headoffice to work as a buyer for the company's African branches. I worked at the procurement division, coordinating and buying stock for the branches. Towards the end of my contract the Export division offered me a permanent post as an Export Trader. It was an opportunity I grabbed with both hands even thou the procurement department wanted to give me an offer as well, the Export Trader position was a bigger challenge for me as it took me out of my comfortzone. I love working in a team because I believe two is always better that one.I have a very progressive mind set and always think out of the box. I value other people's opinions especially in the workplace because the only way to grow is to tap into other experienced colleague's minds.

Long hours and less rest of the other side effects Great opportunity thou... and very humbling and as well it teaches me how to be stronger and another thing the most challenging thing is to not finish the work at a g8ven time

)- the busyness of the switchboard and the way you handle each and every call; -we get along, however, we all have our differences and if we have differences with each other, we sort it out as we are all adults and we must work as one unit; -when I worked as a procurement officer, I learnt a lot about the steel and roofing products; -meeting people whilst answering the phone, even though you don't get to see them face to face, however, it's always nice to meet new people; -we get a lot of difficult clients, they start shouting and swearing at times, however, when a client becomes difficult, and there seem to be no way of getting the client to calm down, i listen to the client and bring the client down to my level and empathize profusely, because all the client needs is someone to listen to and attend to their needs and wants at the end of the day

Excellent working curve
It a good working environment..i enjoy working with other co workers.i have gained more working experience and still willing to learn more..Macsteel is a big company and with more that 10 000 workers so i learnt that i have to work hard n always put more effort in everything or every task given.

Was a hreat learming environment with excellent leam membersbthatbalways tought you anything when asked to leant. Management was always willing to hear out your side and help when tbey can. Learned and. Learned and excelled in all aspects of thiz job
