Being able to dispense

I have learnt to interact with patients in one on one situations and dispensing over the counter meds. Giving advise to the patients and giving them instruction on how to use thier medication. The staff was amazing and lovely. I enjoy most our pensioners patients its always good to work with them thay always making it easy to do the job with them.

Pros: Meeting new people everyday.
Cons: Am flexible with hours

Learning curve to work for corporate

I do stock control, dispensing of medication, health advise, cash-up and everything that is done in a pharmacy from receiving a prescription to delivering medication. I have a great relationship with co-workers and we work well together as a team. What I like most is the diffrent people you meet. What I dislike is the working hours (retail hours). There isn't really anything challenging about my current job because I have been doing it for more 10years. It's time for a challang.

Cons: Long hours

Excellent learning curve

Great working environment. Great team that aspires to do better and improve all the time. There are always opportunities to learn more with training provided to staff.

Good place to work at

Working at MediRite pharmacy has been great. The pharmacy personnel is nice. Some of the customers are very friendly and you feel like you are truly helping them. Some patients are just very mean and hurtful and sometimes that ruins your whole day. I don’t think that working at a retail pharmacy is something that one can do for the rest of their life as it is very exhausting. You spend most of the time of your feet and that can take its toll on your body.

Cons: Long working hours. No room for growth
