Company for the people

My job is very challenging but exciting at the same time. I work eight and a half hours shift. We are very busy especially towards the month-end. I enjoy working with my colleagues. We are one big team.

Learning curve

Wit was agreat place to work at,learnt a few thinlearn management skills,learning that people are diversified so if there is any issu you must be strategiv on how uou handle issues within the team so that we are able to achieve as a a team and as a company.as muvh as one had to do their work for great work we need to work together.also learnt that the client needs to be updated with their cases timelisy even if one doesnt have the finsl feedback just to keep them updated.gs whike there??

Excellent Career Growth

Mercantile Bank provided me with excellent career growth oppurtunities. A typical day at work would include sorting out an array of queries. I have a great relation ship with most co workers I have learnt to be tolerant and resilient towards work as well well co - workers the most challenging is the fact that due to my role and personality I find myself involved or assisting departments or consultants who do not report to me.

Leanership at Mercantile

I worked at Mercantile Bank as part of a leanership experience I had with BankSeta. I was placed at the customer processing department, where I trained and worked as an assistant payments officer. I had normal working hours like ever other staff member - 8 hours a day. I had a good relationship with my co-workers and managers also. This was my first ever professional experience. I learnt a lot of skills, ranging from soft skills to professional skills. I mostly enjoyed the experience it came with. The challenges this job came with was that it demanded to much time from, I found having to work overtime daily. overall, it was a beautiful experience

A good place for you start in with multiple opportunities. The place provides good mentoring programs which have allowed me to grow and the executives offer good support for growing. Good salary packages and incentives.

Learning growth

My Relationship with co-workers is good as i am a friendly and easily approachable person. i have learnt much more than i expected in the field of Banking or foreign exchange field, there's still more to learn. what i enjoyed the most is making my clients happy at all times, being there when they need me and providing utmost experience for their queries, even learning about new concepts in the exchange control and how to counterpart challenges faced by clients
