The ability to learn and develop my skills
Your posting for the above post caught my attention; it’s the perfect match for my interests, talents and experience. I have a solid back round on working with computers, maintaining and troubleshooting. The nature of my diploma course and experience has prepared me very for well for the post. After the completion of my Diploma in Information Technology (networking), I have been working at MerSETA, at my time I have gained solid experience in installing new software; I have great understanding on how Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), and Virtual Private Networks (VPN) and other networks. I have experience in Installing, configuring and maintaining network services, equipment and devices. I have a good understanding in windows server 2012, I have also have worked on xp, windows 7, 8 and 10.

Im keen to learn

Im keen to learn
Im a good team player. Im keen to learn. Im looking for new challenges. I have gained lot of exposure is assisting clients telephonically and via e-mail. I have gained knowledge as a call centre agent, admin assist and qaulity administrator. I have done filling using metrofile system.

Unpredictable work allocation, changes daily
Our daily work load can be very high but has taught me plan and schedule my day, my relationship with my colleagues is very good, we are like family, i have learnt to be patient new things daily, we had a challenge of change of systems and has caused so many problems not only for our clients but for us to be able to assist them, when they were frustrated they took it out on us but I understood where they were coming from.
Pros: Study bursaries are great
Cons: Unstable duties, today you do this tomorrow you are told leave what you are doing and do something else.

I have gained lot of exposure and expirience
i have gained lot of exposure by assisting clients. closing skills gap. promoting excellent service to the clients.Being able to solve problems. computer skills. A good team player, believing in Botho Pele.

Passion to learn and Good with Communication
Making sure all users are connected through the network, have access to the systems they use. Have anti-virus install and applications users use. troubleshooting if there is a problem with user workstation. I keep consistent communication with co-workers. i have learnt to understand what is the problem before fixing it, i enjoying helping people where i can and researching about the problem if i can't helping, because some other problems needs understand and so if i understand the cause i will be able to work on the problem. the most challenging aspects is when users face difficulties that need special attention or time to be worked on and they start panicking.

Development opportunities
Working in merSETA for nearly 9 years has been a blessing. Working with co-workers who have the goal to serve the nation in skills development. We learned more on customers service, project managing different task., reporting matters accurately, negotiation skills I enjoyed interacting with providers and negotiating the way services will be done. A typical day will start by responding to e-mails as its normally quiet at that time, checking any appointments for the day, approving quotations.
Pros: Opportunity to study
Cons: You can become a workoholic if you are not careful. So it's important that you balance work/life.

Some work I do at home. It's quiet hectic but wake get things done. Mastered the tender process, Requesting quotations and preparing for the meeting and drafting the minutes.
