Great learning opportunity
A typical work day I am a Call Center Team Leader in the Call Center. My day to day duties includes that of my team that operates under my direction and guidance. - Your relationship with co-workers I work together with other departments in order to ensure quality of delivery meets the appropriate standard. - What you have learnt To be able to measure and manage the team to ensure targets are met. Communicating information in time, accurately and with understanding for all team members. - What you enjoy most Team work - The most challenging aspects of the job To make sure that everybody meets the target at the end of the day.

Excellent communication skills
A typical work day is by living the values of the company : which is excellence ,integrity ,innovation, diversity, teamwork, accountability. My relationship with co-workers is that we always encourage and motivate each other and we do work in a very diverse environment. I have learnt quite a lot in the medical industry including claims. I enjoy my work a lot as I learn everyday .Challenging aspects of the job is that you need to make you meet and exceed the members providers expectations .

Learning curve
I have been working in the medical administration for +-19 years, As forensics investigator I enjoyed working with external parties. When findings are completed, I have to draft affidavits to lodge a investigation of fraud with South African Police, regular follow-ups with Warrant officers. What I like most, when providers acknowledge findings and pay the funds back to the medical aid. As Technical specialist, I monitor real-time submissions and attend to call centers queries. Testing data-base and implementation of rules. I enjoy engaging with people, transfer knowledge.

Excellent career opportunities and good corporate culture
Policies are in place and followed. The company has acquired the Invest In People badge. Two different cultures Momentum and Metropolitan Health. There is human resource development. Manage the team to perform optimally. Hold morning reflection meetings and do reports. Have a good supportive team. I have learnt leadership and using different management style in influence behavior to achieve desired results. When not meeting SLA and team leaders are lying and not putting their wait to encourage their subordinates to do give their best.

I was groomed by Metropolitan where I got customer service certificate
I worked as medical call center agent for more than 7 years and I was promoted to be an Admin Assistant. In a call center, I was confirming medical aid benefits, Assist with claims queries, Reprocessing claims that was incorrectly processed. logging calls. Then went to Pre authorization department to assist Nurses by loading Hospital pre-authorization admission. Then I went to claims department where I was appointed as the claims specialist. I am now reprocessing the claims that was paid from wrong benefits, claim was capture but because there was no authorization it pays from wrong benefits but now the authorization is loaded, it will pay from correct benefits.

Customer care, communication, computer skills, teamwork
I am a self motivated self starter who is also a good team player. With vast experience in customer care in various industries eg. telecommunication s and medical aid. At my current job my typical day involves resolving medical aid queries and servicing about 35 or more medical aid members. Doing follow-ups on unresolved queries and giving feedback to the members. With my good communication, computer skills, analytical skills and people's skills, I am able to do my job successfully.

I enjoy working at MH, its one of the not too big companies but has a lot of growth in terms of career wise, I have learnt alot especially with the Medical Aids etc...MMI’s purpose is to improve the lifetime Financial Wellness of people, their communities and their businesses. Financial Wellness is a continuous process of planning and management for individuals, households and businesses, with the aim of affording expenses and achieving goals over one’s lifetime.
