Medical aid terms and ICD; Terrif cods and practice codes
I work in a very strict company with time and giving quality service to all medical aid members and practice at all time . In my typical day I am expected to take 80 plus calls and 20 calls am most likely to transfer to other departments . One thing I love would the medical aid benefits and pension funds that the company provides for all employees that I work with. but the most challenging part is that the system is old and we are expected to solve all queries at all time but some agents or department capture information incorrect

I enjoy working at MH, its one of the not too big companies but has a lot of growth in terms of career wise, I have learnt alot especially with the Medical Aids etc...MMI’s purpose is to improve the lifetime Financial Wellness of people, their communities and their businesses. Financial Wellness is a continuous process of planning and management for individuals, households and businesses, with the aim of affording expenses and achieving goals over one’s lifetime.

Excellent learning curve.

Pros: There no promotions at my company, people apply like everybody else and attend interviews.
Cons: I work normal working hours and do overtime where I am required to.

Excellent Curve
High pressure environment, no overtime payment. I have great relationship with co-workers, one thing I do enjoy is the fact that I work with great people even if things can be bad at work, my colleagues will always avail themselves to assist each other. The fact that you dont get any bonus or performance bonus nothing, no subsidy for medical aid. you pay it on your own pocket. The challenging part is that at time you do investigation on desk top based environment minimal interactions with outside people.
Pros: Great exposure in the healthcare industry
Cons: Long hours, no ending deadlines
