An a experience financial.advisor.

Working under pressure is my first name ,as metropolitan is a busy profwtional company everything is about business ,profetionalism,reaching targets and being compliant to all the laws and POPi acts and FAIS laws.our values is to treat clients dearly ie TCF.that's all I can motivate. I learned more expieriance ,working with others is more interesting because to mix ideas and views make work easier.

Pros: There are some.opportunities like getting more skills and trainings.
Cons: Be course you are working you are the manager of your diary,and as a commission earner plus basic you are grounded to work overtime if possible.

Excellent learning opportunity and career development

I have four years working experience in the financial Services industry as a financial planner / adviser. My duties were dealing with customers on daily basis face to face and via telephone solving their queries and processing documentation, updating records and administration

Pros: Was a Senior adviser at Metropolitan for 3 years
Cons: Working on weekends when required to

Good customer service etiquette

My job is a field job not an office job and we work as a team and I also work well individually I have grown in terms of approaching customers face to face unlike in my previous job I was communicating telephonically but I enjoy building a relationship with companies and different people professionally, my challenge is meeting my monthly target but I push my self I never allow my self to fail and I enjoy helping people with financial planning.

Pros: Incentives, promotions and good money
Cons: No work no pay if you didn't meet target you don't get paid

It was a great experience for me

I enjoyed working for metropolitan life by I needed a change coz I was than moving to a new place. But it was a good place and I learned more than I know and a great working team we were

Fast learner

I enjoy working at the team as I enjoy learning more from others. I enjoy sharing my skills with others because sharing it's caring. In order for me to reach some of my goals it’s because I’ve worked in a shop as a cashier and at insurance company as a receptionist. Welcoming lot of people was an amazing and enjoyable part I liked. The most challenging part of being a cashier was when the customers complain about their credit limits as they want to be increased, which is not what we wish to happen to our customers. Fortunately that's not a serious problem as they can submit their proof of income to increase it. So at insurance company the challenging part it’s when the clients come and maybe complain about delays they faced on their claims.

Good leadership skills

I am a simple guy, very dedicated to my work and that of the people around me. My kindness helps me to communicate and build relationships with my co-workers, i think i always impact people in a positive way. It has always been my goal to teach and improve others, that is why i do enjoy working in a group than on my own

giving advice to clients and do office administration, recruiting people, training and coaching. controlling of operation expenses. Implementing the business plans developed by Regional Manager. Managing the key performance areas of subordinates. Entrenching the vision ,mission and values (culture) within my branch. Develop new sales opportunities and increasing penetration levels. Identifying trends, opportunities, threats and environment influences. Handling key accounts

Pros: For hard work I will be providing to the company,I expect to be promoted in years time
Cons: I am prepared to work under pressure and gun for results

Excellent Learning Curve

It is very good and interesting I get to learn new things every day. we have a good relationship with colleagues and Managers. what i enjoy Most is when we working as a team getting different Ideas from others on how to grow. sometimes you get challenges when it comes to clients when you need to resolve their issues.

Pros: great opportunity to grow in a company
Cons: Lapses will make you not to grow
