I was working at Microsoft. As a solutions specialist in the public sector - Government.
I worked a day to day 9 to 5 job, excluding weekends. It was a non Micro management environment so a lot of independence was needed as well as the discipline and that's what I enjoyed most because it challenged me to be a better person and to have self empowerment. The environmental synergy was good, as the vision and mission of Microsoft has always been that to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. And with that mindset, we had the right ocherstration, good relationship managed by respect and collaboration amongst each other as Co workers and as well with our partners. I enjoyed everything about my job even with the challenges, dealing with customers that got to go through tenders, others through compliance and as well as delayed payments for recurrings. Not forgetting on opening a new deal, have to upsell and cross sell. Amazing journey to say.

Excellent learning curve
Introduced to new apps availible to people got to test it then promote it and demonstrate the features that it brings. Learning about the future apps and opperating systems that will be released and their availibility to te open market.

Appetite for new knowledge
I am confident and ambitious person with an appetite for new knowledge and willing to learn more about any trade or industry. My objective is to work for an organization that will allow me to grow my career and will also value my hard working as well as dedication within any given field under business information technology. Great opportunity
It provided a great customer interaction and relation. Keep one on their toes and very unpredictable. Puts one in a ppsition of innovation and creativity. It was a great learning curve and excellent opportunity

Retail Sales Representatives
The current job has taught me how to deal with selling of software, I already had substantial experience in field marketing and sales. A typical day includes driving to each of the stores to be seen on that day, providing motivation to retail staff to sell our particular product, training on our products, ensuring that the product is merchandised as per Microsoft standards and is clearly visible to customers and ensuring that there is always stock available for customers to purchase. Mostly I have learnt what motivates retails sales representatives and how to use that knowledge.
Pros: Working for a well known employer, quarterly incentives and quarterly team building excursions.
Cons: Contract employment and the job became repetitive

Learning every day
I am new to the Accounting role within Payroll, therefore learning every day. The support from top management is on par. They definitely look after their permanent staff.
