Learning experience

I have learned all the skills through my current employer. I started as apprentice for three-year and I was appointed permanently thereafter my trade test qualifications. There are more learning opportunities available however the company doesn't appreciate talent.

Pros: No opportunity for growth

Dynamics of the packaging industry and growth therein

I work in a multi racial and a diverse office with wonderful colleagues and their personalities. My day starts by printing a delivery schedule which indicates all the orders in the system which I process, would then follow up with each department internally of the overdue ones. The challenge with the job is when machinery has a breakdown or under maintenance then can't afford the OTIF to customers and have to answer to customers. Having tick all the boxes on your daily duties then a customer gives accolades.

Pros: Great position to grow and interacting with various departments
Cons: Not enough times for training programme

Have learned myself alot at this place

Apparently it's a good company on paper , taking up 7th and 9th spot on JSE ranking recently in different departments.. But that's not what my salary show.. 70% percent of my colleagues still lives in Shacks, with no water and electricity. So yip , Not rocket science. Everything else is Perfect: Co-workers Learning curve Relationships Any job is enjoyable all depends on you.

Pros: Great opportunity, if you're fresh from school.
Cons: To much wrong people in wrong positions.

Good experience

People love learning about their personalities and take tests hoping to reveal what type they are. Yet, experts have long said personality types are mythical: Personality exists along a continuum. Though a recent study is debunking that idea. very good and hard working persons

Better working environment.

I am greateful to be part of Mpact. Great people and colleagues. I have learned a lot including interactions with people, problem solving. How to think on your feet. The most challenging part of my job at Mpact is dealing with one of the most complex machines.

Pros: There is a huge opportunity to grow.
Cons: Little time to learn.

Paper making industry from recycling fibres.Working four shift syteem 7 to 7 twelve hour system.Im enjoying my job but i just need to grow and be better on wht im doing.

My time at Mpact

Working at my current company is good; it is an environment where there is a lot of resistance to change, and performing daily operations using a traditional way. However, with the new normal, and ways of work there is a great need for ICT department to change the way they function. For me, which is a great challenge and an opportunity to be part of the change. Because I am part of the assignment to facilitate change and making the new innovative culture that will enable the business to strive in such unprecedented times.

Growth potential

Hi ash a south African I've come across all races and cultures and feel that has been beneficial to my own personal development and it is a great positive as i can work with all races and cultures at the moment my work day is very busy as i do like it and that is what i aspect from your company as well as I do like a positive challenge.
