Excellent learning curve

Well I work shifts.3 shifts:8hrs.On the weekends its 12hrs which is overtime.Have an awesome team which always motivates when you have a tough day.Its like my 2nd family.I have learnt alot of things which I never knew about in my apprenticeship years.Eg. hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Compressors.Suction fans.Supervised team of 8.Troubleshooting with plc systems.Mechanical breakdowns.What I like about this job the most was that felt I worked in the military lol . The challenges I faced as a plastican was insane.The biggest challenge was that management always look like the job was like a walk on the park.The were cutting cost so we had to deal with the same breakdowns over and over.Ididnt mind but it affect our efficiency and skill as a toolmaker.Toolmakers like sorting the problem out so that it doesn't happen again atleast for a year not every week.Parts especially quality is very important.I look at the long term.Thank you have the time to read my review.

Good learning curve

It's good company nd the is growth but u mst well know person talking person , salary it's not bad but u have to work long hours to make good money nd it's paid weekly tht one thing nice about cz u always have money weekly.

Good working environment

Good company with good co workers who are able to work as a team. Although it's good to work for Polyoak Packaging it also have its disadvantages like working long and weekends and it doesn't have career growth opportunities. The management is very professional and are able assist in many ways.

Excellent growth

A very enjoyable working environment. Can be challenging as the plant is situated in a rural area and being a manufacturing plant time is money, and to receive technical support on time when needed.

Its a nice company to work for

Polyoak it's a nice company to work for. Every day you face new challenges as we are dealing with big customers. We get along as employees. I learnt many things there how to treat the customers and also how to take my job seriously on a daily basis and also learnt to always keep our customers happy no matter the circumstances. The most challenging aspects is make sure we don't pack scrap we must produce good quality products for the customers.

Pros: I feel chances of getting promotional are zero there

Excellent growth

Polyoak is a great place to work at, the staff are friendly and the daily work expectations from one is average. I love working at polyoak and there is much room for climbing the career ladder. But manufacturing is just not for me. If it had to be then I would recommend anyone that likes manufacturing and working in warehouses. It is a great opportunity and there is a lot of growth in this company.
