My typical day included looking forward to new challenges. I worked with my manager and colleagues . I learned that my experience helped me make sound decisions. I enjoyed testing electrical equipment . The challenges were long working hours

Good

I enjoy working at my company as i get introduced to many chalanging situations which in turn are growing my abilities in handling different customers and improving my skills in handling my work alone. I have also grown a lot technicaly and i n the maner in which i conduct my work in a safley maner. I have also managed to injure travelling and staying away from home for very long periods.

Designing and maintenance skills

The team was great, we accomplished greater things under the leadership of great engineers. I have learned a lot under this field of engineering that how you should respond working under pressure.

Good welder

I am very active minded young man who loves to work with people. .I am able to work under less supervision. .good team player.i able to weld most of the weld on variety of steel and in different sizes

Pros: I dont have a problem working under any circumstances of weather
Cons: any time m able to work; any shifts

Convenient work environment

It's not the best company in the world, minimal promotion opportunities, too many working hours, no benefits for factory workers, no bonus scheme, minimal growth career wise., you can be stuck in the same position for years. It is one of the biggest transformer manufacturing companies in the country

I am always eager to know new things.

A typical work day: - Creating 3D models with Solidworks - Creating drawings using solidworks - Writing technical standards and peer to peer reviews - Performer Simulation using ANSYS

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours and tired deadlines

Not happy with salary i got.

I am as assembler of transformers at powertech working shift of 12hrs a day. I am working very hard and many hours but the money I earn is not worth. I learned much by working hard and gained more in the field of Engineering but money is too little.

Pros: no promotion at all
Cons: working 12 hours a day

Excellent All round experience

Constantly new challenges... meetings...reports.... discipline application...assessment of supervision achievement in terms of output... utilisation of manning and productivity achievement.

I have learnt alot by taking responsibilities in different roles

i have been given so many opportunities as a young Industrial engineer full of energy and determination.i have worked as a production support engineer where i got to work very closely with the top management of the business and the operators in the production floor.i have also been given a role as a charge hand and i was basically working as a foreman and that is where i learnt a lot about people management skills and i have been a master production scheduler of the whole company so i have really learnt a lot as a Powertech transformers employee.

Pros: Good learning opportunities given
Cons: Project funding currently kept very low
