Gathering experience
I maintain buses,ready them for road test on a given period of time. I work with a specific type of bus make namely the Irish bus,with cursor 10 engine. They are full of technology compared to the other makes we have in the deport. It's always something new and different to learn specially on the electrical side. I work very well with people that makes it easy for me to learn and also transfer knowledge and wisdom. The team is united that makes it easy for every1 to be productive and help each other,lack of proper tools and spares makes it hard for us to produce with respect to the time interval given per bus for its major service. Also the quality of parts play a major role for the life span of the vehicle and questionable trade skills.
Pros: great apprenticeship programme

I'm a qualified diesel mechanic. I can do inspection ,fault finding , fixing problems I can attend to brackdowns .I have three years working as apprentice and six month as a qualified diesel mechanic.

Technical problem solving and decision making
As required ,I am able to perform all kinds of repair and prevent maintenance . services of a variety of diesel vehicles in addition ,I have demonstrated ability to perform inspection on suspension, electrical basic ,brake and air systems. furthermore I have a demonstrated ability to read and understand instructions manual and analytics charts to troubleshoot and analyze potential problems. The most challenging thing to words my work you always find differents problem ,but thts where I learned the challenge and to find Fault .

Staying in the family
Arrive at the office at approximately early, as I travel from Pretoria to Soweto. Audit internal processes Review & spot check data, compile feedback for departmental heads to correct. Redesign excel files (Financial Report - long term). Liaise with Directors to provide updates / feedback on specific projects. I have built a network of colleagues whom I can contact for advice / clarification, and vice versa. Friction with executives, as we do not always agree on everything. I have learned to be more open in dealing with employees, initially I seemed closed off due to shyness. Increased confidence in dealing with senior managers & willingness to respectfully express a differing view. Difficult to manage managers, especially as they are aware that I am on the same level as they are.
Pros: Unique industry with unique set of circumstances allows one to be innovative in tackling problems
Cons: Long service senior management team & directors do not necessarily want to innovate and/or change.

Hard worker
Currently am working as assistant diesel mechanic .my work during the day is to overall engines different kinds like MAN ,Iveco and Mercedes Benz . I also repair and maintenance services for heavy duty vehicles .my working environment I learned a lot ,team work ,hard worker and also provide production to the costumes .the challenge part here it's like when u need to take out the heavy things like engine ,diff and Gearbox .
