I have learned a lot from Putco busy.

Start working at 03:0 am intill 12 which makes it 9hours a day.over time sometimes..i would lie I enjoy working for Putco bus,but it's about time I grow,about time to start afresh.meanting new faces nd people..i have learned a lot from Putco.learn he to fault find testing different components and completing my job in time

Excellent learning curve

Working at putco is nice because on weekend is over time which COMPANY is paying well for overtime.each and everyday you learn new things.the co workes are good and it make me happy cause most of co workers are old people who have lot of experience on the vehicles that we are working on.

Pros: Less opportunities for promotion
Cons: Working less hours

Many years experience in different asoects of accounting.

Difficult to work with union members. Good relations with sub ordinates. No promotion possibilities. Have gained a lot of experience by working in several departments in the company. Early retirement effective from 01 January 2019.

Pros: Many different branches and able to gain wide ecperience.
Cons: No possibility of promotion

I'm qualified Diesel Mechanic from that company

I learned a lot of things at that company such as overhauling and assembly diesel engine and prepare heavy duty vehicle for roadworthy and prepare job cards.

Good learning curve

work day starts at 07:30 then submit yesterday's job card. wait for a new job card. wait for the bus which is scheduled for that day, lock out time is 16:30 first thing when the bus comes in is you have to inspect the bus, complete the job card you do the checks. personally I would say it teaches you different things when your inspect the bus yourself. it challenges you. and gives you an overview to differentiate between reusable and non-usable. with a fleet as huge, you get challenged, from all sides. which puts you in a position of working under pressure a day to day job. which is nice considering the exposure and experience you will get in a short space of time.

Pros: you can learn a lot from different busses they have.
Cons: safty, no tools , parts is problem

More appropriate to grow

normal working hours great relationship with my fellow co-workers great experience i was still new in the idustry of transport but i manage to learn and experience great challenges which i overcome with a positive attitude. working as a team work i find it stimulating and give me a chance to learn from my fellow co-workers.

Pros: promotion available if you are eager to learn
Cons: normal working time and overtime available

Qualified

I'm Jackson I qualified as diesel mechanic in section 14 it was three year post apprentice now I have six months working as artisan assistance in putco . I know ADE ,MAN and IVECO.

Pros: I'm good with my hands
Cons: I can work weekend

I'm a fast leanerr

I'm a diesel mechanic in section 13. I have knowledge of light vehicles . I have done moto mechanic in central Johannesburg college after I applied apprentice in putco it was a 3 year post after I qualified as a diesel mechanic. Now I have six months working as artisan assistance . I wish I will be luck to find this job

Cons: I can work weekend
