Great Learning Institution

Each day is different from the next. You never know which industry you will be investigating and what kind of people you will encounter during the engagement. You get exposed to a lot of industries which allows you to choose which specific industry you might be interested in future should you wish to specialise in a specific industry. Meeting different people is also part of the job description which allows you to interact with different people and understand different perspectives of individuals. The company I work for has been a great learning institution but opened my eyes as to the specific industries I would like to specialise in. Supply Chain being on the top of the list.

Cons: A lot of travelling is required

Great learning curve

A typical day involves logging into the phone systems and then taking calls from internal users. I also do quality control in my current role and have taken ownership of certain applications.

Execellent Opportunity

Within auditing we work long hours. A typical day involves coaching fellow trainee's, updating management, managing work and liasing with the client. Tasks are organised from most important to least important.

It was great learning experience

It was lifetime opportunity to be intern at one of the biggest accounting and auditing firm in the world. I learnt so much. Now I can think Independently and critical. I learnt that auditing is about applying your mind and interacting with other people. I am team player now because of this opportunity. It was very fortunate to have a supervisor that was coming from same University as I am because she was understanding. She took me a very steps in internal audit. It was indeed great honour to work with people like them. They were patient with us and they were respecting us even we were only interns at PwC

Excellent brand, exposure and learning curve

The company has an excellent brand and a lot of opportunities are offered to young professionals. I have enjoyed working with different people of different races, gender and age.

Excellent learning curve

Fast paced. Requires you to think on your feet. Be delivered and firm. Be transparent. Meet up with stark holders. Daily inspection of the building. Building relationships with service providers. Knowledge of SLA. Draw up budget and control cost. Manage rfq processes. Building, asset and travel insurance. Travel Management Manage reception, switchboard and finance team
