Free Thinker that is not by the rules
In a typical day I don't require a routine but will gladly follow one if needed. I keep myself busy and if the company floor does not need me at a given time I better myself with training and research to do my job better. I love working with my hands and my brains and where I van combine the two even better. Give me a problem and I will solve it or propose a solution if needed. If I need to do a job twice then you can can be guaranteed that i will make it easy for myself if possible.
Pros: There are a wide variety of machine over many generations and types that keep my mind occupied
Cons: The gap in communication and understanding between management and the shop floor is putting unreasonable demands and expectations on the shop floor

Great experience, versatile role
Daily interactions with supply chain and logistics, design engineering and planning as well as inhouse production. Very seldom interaction with development engineering Daily communication with suppliers and external service providers. Total quality management, technical designs and continuous process improvement

I started working at the company on 2016 and I am an experienced CNC machine operator,then I became a CNC Machine Setter within the company. I am currently working for the company and have some opportunities to grow myself as an Artisan.

I am a self-motivated, analytical thinker, honest and open-minded person who takes initiatives.
I have experience in Chemical process plant as a process Supervisor, which include monitoring of process plant and producing 98% H2SO4 (sulphuric acid) using SCADA. Laboratory experiences include analysis of Explosives, fluxing, furnace operation, HT and low-temperature cupellation, prill weighing, XRF sample preparation and Gratings, as well as daily maintenance and operation of laboratory instruments like HPLC, GC, IC, AA, UV/Vis, and NIR. I also have experience in working in a metallurgical laboratory. I have formal training on Lean Engineering tools like MDW, FMEA, DMAIC, 5s, Problem solving, Root cause analysis, visual stream mapping, 20 keys, and Engineering level 1. I am currently working as an Analytical Chemist at Rheinmetall Denel Munition

Working at denel is really an excellent experience as it is a huge company
Working as QA Technologist is really exciting as you get the chance to interact with clients and people at a higher level in the company. I am in a diversity company where you get the chance to understand other cultures and how to respect their beliefs as well. My co-workers are brothers and sisters to me as we always strive for common goal at the company. I learnt that even if the pressure is too much you do not panic as it will reduce your working capability.
Pros: I have not yet got any promotion but there are possibilities for that in a long run
Cons: I only work 8 hours but i am willing to work longer hours than that

Excellent learning experiance
challenging breakdowns almost daily constantly learning co workers are very friendly and it is a very good environment very wide range of instrumentation, plc's, valves, VSDs, controllers ect. I enjoy the most is working on an challenging problem and solving the problem. the most challenging thing is late night call out and struggeling to find the problem.

It's a great opportunity
It's a nice experience since well I have only three weeks at my current job, I got a chance to work mostly with Fluorescent and it's more interesting as it's more challenging and critical. I am a friendly person and I enjoy a good relationship with my coworkers as I believe they'll teach me something I don't know. I have learned that quality and production are key. I enjoy working with open minded people who gives you platform to express your opinions. The most challenging is to always remember that you're working with critical stuff so you have to be extra careful when you inspect

Results driven
The combination of strategy through New Business Development, mergers and acquisition, transfer of technology has been a major learning for me in establishing long term business relationship, because competition triumphs through it. Understanding different Countries in the African region, cultures, political landscapes and bilateral agreements within countries play a major role in business. As a key account manager, I have to maintain good customer relationship, know my customer, but yet maintain the internal stakeholders to ensure execution, therefore indirectly becomes a project manager.

I am responsible for the plant in Potchefstroom, assisted by cost accountant and other finance administrators. I interact with all departments on a daily basis in order to achieve the set goals of the plant and the company at large. My main functions; 1Control on BOM 2Control over variances 3Identifying lack of efficiencies and continuously recommending corrective measures 4Stock controls measures and management 5Determining profitability of our products.

Cons: Far from my family and we can't get my wife a job in Potcheftroom
