I think it's a good company because when u got your qualifications it gives you a chance to improve yourself.they follow the rules and regulations.I enjoy working there because they got qualify management.

Hard working person

I am a hard working person who is not afraid of challenges. I am will to relocate where ever my job is. I have completed my N6 in Business Management. And I hope I am the right candidate for this job

Creating a culture of excellance

My day starts of with a departmental meeting. This meeting includes all QA/QC team members were will address current issues and follow-up on outstanding tasks. Following this meeting is a cross-functional meeting between departments , with the GM as the team leader.Each department will have actions , which needs to be adressed by the department. My team consists of 19 people with 3 of them reporting to me directly. I believe in leading my team instead of managing. I continuously strive to create a culture of empowerment and encourage my team members to always take intiative. I am continuously learning alot about the operational side of things. I have adapted to the different personalities to create a good team spirit. I really enjoy working with people and see how they have grown. Most chellenges are people resistant to change and how to motivate them to accept and be part of the change.

My ability to pay attention to detail as well my level of analysis gives me the opportunity

I like being involved in solving problems and do not fear taking calculation risks.I am willing to gain experience and knowledge with the orgarnasation in order to enhance myself as a human being. I aim on not only learning new things buts hopefully adding value to the organization by the skills that I will be providing.

Excellent learning curve

Working at Rhodes Food Group as Seamer Mechanic can be very challenging because you have to make the management happy by producing well on daily basis with faulty cans from the suppliers, faulty old machines and incompetent team leaders. That has enabled me to be a very good and hardworking candidate under impossible conditions and situations. We have built a very strong team with co worker and support each other if needs be. The things that makes me enjoy working here is that you have to deal with a new problem every day and I have rebuild many of the company machines and also improved the machine efficiency and availability.

A learning curve

Even though i liked my job i found it to be unfair and opportunity to prove myself was never given. Even when i did everything to the best of my ability i felt i was misjudged and that was a disappointment and an embarrassment to me.
