Opportunity for growth and self development
I am individual who is always looking at making a difference in other people's lives hence I initially studied for a teaching degree. I enjoy working at my company currently but I strongly feel my current duties are not allowing me to perform at my optimal level. I relate well with people at work. I always try to impart new knowledge I've learnt to my co-workers. I enjoy seeing the trainees I have trained excelling in their duties and getting noticed by Management. The most challenging aspects is when I meet our clients who usually visit our offices in times of grief. I work in a Funeral Parlour and part of my training duties is to monitor Parlour Attendants trainees when they wash and coffin deceased.
Pros: Company has the best interest of its workforce.

My first job and i have moved within this big corporate giant
My day normally start early at 7am, with payment of invoices which should be done by 10am. I enjoy a cup of coffee at 9am with my colleagues who are quite dear and have become family. I have learnt to treasure my colleagues as they have helped me out in difficult times. I enjoy that my days are dffrent and i act as a bridge between my office and head office. I get to interact a lot with people with different skills, in various sector in the company like HR, finance, claims and IT

Sanlam Sky
My day to day duties involve uploading bank statements, making claims payments and ensuring banking journals I prepare the monthly bank reconciliations and prepare reports for the monthly projects
Pros: Good working hours, work with a good team and good culture
Cons: Tight deadlines and depend on other departments for information when they don't understand our accounting process

Excellent learning curve
I love working for sanlam but i feel it is time for me to grow within this industry, i am a hard working lady who is disciplined and self motivated and i take every challenge as an opportunity for me to learn , i love working as a team , strategising and planning for business opportunities.my goal is to be one of the leading female employees in retail by excelling in my duties . Working for sanlam has helped me discover my strengths and weaknesses, the high level of profesionalism that you get from sanlam assist you to be the best that you can be in your role.

I have learnt a lot at Sanlam and looking for growth
My current working environment is highly pressurised and therefore I am more than capable of working under pressure. I have a great working relationship with all my colleagues and clients (external and internal). I have learnt to manage my time well, prioritise tasks and be proactive. What I enjoy the most is interacting with people and going the extra mile for those who need my assistance. The most challenging part of my job is that I am not always able to tick off my to do list for the day, which normally means that I would either work from home or carry the work over to the next day.

Great working experience
It entails working from 8 am till 4pm. The work environment is good. The workers get along and professionalism is practiced. Working for a financial services provider has taught me a lot in terms of regulations and getting accredited. The toughest aspects would be dealing with claims as a lot of work goes into it and it needs a lot of concentration as you cannot afford to make incorrect claims.

Is a good learning curve
Salnam is a good company to work for ,it is a field work,making my own appointments to meet client face to face,we allowed to bring our own leads while they provide us,the management are very supportive,we also do after call services. But now I would like to apply for new challenge.
