Learning through others

I love to work in a challenging area where it requires a person to put more efforts and dig more information out of the box. What I like most is team work where you cannot go wrong, because of combined thoughts. I am someone who is deadline driven, my organisation is a busiest organisation, in terms of work load, therefore through pressure we still achieve. I have learnt to jot most important information in my diary for later reminder for instance if in a month we have to cover 10- 15 events it will work on our advantage to remember. I have learnt a lot on the functions of Video and Photo camera and to work effectively with them with being careful.

The organisation is providing opportunities to do trainings to develops ourselves

Being in the SAPS environment is very challenging and inspiring, it's an organisation that bring closer to the people and to undestand their beliefs and background. Good communication with fellow colleagues is the key in the SAPS especially with the risk factor I am involved in. I enjoy most when a victim come to me and thank me for the good service and the manner I have solved the case in the court of law. Challenges I have experience is that there is no off duty time. Dedication is a factor to success in the organisation

Excellent learning experience

Learned to work with community, serving the nation and its inhabitants, protection services,practically ubuntu principles dominated in the service.Team work and respect to the superiors in the service.

Challenging working environment.

Working with the team that is hands on and the company or organisation that is taking into cosideration the interests of it's employee. Being proud of working for the people and their safety as first priority. Considering their human rights and bringing perpetrators to justice.

Im willing to learn from others and work in any circumstances

Investigation it's my life, I can do it even if I'm from drowning in the deepestate of the sea. Where I am I learn to not live stone unturned, which makes the people of these country, rely to my organisation, because of bringing justice to the people, by detect the criminals tention of committing each case and The unlawful.in most cases I came with good convictions

Pros: I'm now a sergeant, not because of the service I have to my organisation, but because I deserve it with my hard working and skills in investigation, anyway promotional it's not my priority. my priority is to have more knowledge and experience to raise the company flag higher than before
Cons: I'm willing to work long and after hours to keep my work up to date always

Development of skills

Am doing administrative duties and my skills is improving since I started working, which will help me do my work quick and easy. I have computer, communication and planning skills. I am a team player, able to work under pressure and willing to learn new skills and abilities.

Good from for public finance graduates

Great working environment. Great mentors who are willing to help. Mostly dealing with finance duties like salaries, overtime, travel arrangement, claims etc
