Learning through others

I love to work in a challenging area where it requires a person to put more efforts and dig more information out of the box. What I like most is team work where you cannot go wrong, because of combined thoughts. I am someone who is deadline driven, my organisation is a busiest organisation, in terms of work load, therefore through pressure we still achieve. I have learnt to jot most important information in my diary for later reminder for instance if in a month we have to cover 10- 15 events it will work on our advantage to remember. I have learnt a lot on the functions of Video and Photo camera and to work effectively with them with being careful.

Growth and advancement

Great Person that adapt very easy in a work environment and Goood in communication. Young persistent person who work hard and always willing to work an extra miles. Person with his own goals but in line with the company objectives to be reached in time.

I associate easily with co-workers. Hard worker . disciplined

I investigate criminal cases. Collect evidence send them to different SAPS aiders. If suspect found at the scene of crime will be arrested taken to court , bail will be opposed if necessary. Witness statement obtained. Usually we are paired in a car. And we work comfortably together as a pair. I learned patience and I loved field work.

Pros: Direct contact with the people and offering my assistance.
Cons: Sacrifice my time

The organisation is providing opportunities to do trainings to develops ourselves

Being in the SAPS environment is very challenging and inspiring, it's an organisation that bring closer to the people and to undestand their beliefs and background. Good communication with fellow colleagues is the key in the SAPS especially with the risk factor I am involved in. I enjoy most when a victim come to me and thank me for the good service and the manner I have solved the case in the court of law. Challenges I have experience is that there is no off duty time. Dedication is a factor to success in the organisation

Working for south African police service has taught me to embrace multiculturalism

Good organisation which serves the community with dignity and their respect adhere to the rules of the constitution for Human rights. This organisation embrace the employment equity act which insist on equality for all regardless of gender

Pros: Working at this organisation gives one an opportunity to advance in their career as they regularly advertise post for employment for those inside and outside. In doing that they don't forget to balance the injustice of the past regarding employment in this country
Cons: Working in this organisation is a blessing the working hours are flexible, you are allowed to take Sick leave and day offs, there is a lot of work but if you dedicated you won't find it difficult

Exceptional employer and they really develop and train yiu

It is a pleasure to work in the Saps. It is sa very stressful job however I enjoyed working within the police. The best part for me was the fact that I was a Training Officer mostly and trained a lot of my colleagues. My colleagues had a very good understanding with me and we worked very well as a team.

Excellent learning curve

ChCcccccChallenging environment. I enjoy ling worklace skills plan, arranging courses and compiling training statistics. Exposed to variety f tasks, recruitment, service terminations, performance management, training and discipline, grievance management.

Starting a new career in occupational health and safety

Im a former police officer with 13yrs experience in policing...I'm currently studying ohs and I want to ga8n some experience in my new career.. I'm a hard worker and have received numerous awards including officer with most arrests as a policeman.. Some people just go to work...I actually go and do WORK..
