Excellent learning opportunity
It is a good company. They don't put so much pressure on their interns. It is almost impossible to get a job after you've completed your internship at Scaw Metals Group, because of the current problems the Steel Industry is facing. It is a big company, with good management, and their employees are very friendly and are always willing to help.
Pros: For now there are no opportunities

Lot of experience and skills gained
My typical day at work, i get to deal with a lot of queries from employees. I have Pleasant personality, i get along with everyone. I have learnt and understand peoples characteristics and how to deal with work situation of different employees. I also learnt to embrace change and criticism. I enjoy dealing with different people/employees and being with the team that i work with as well our supervisor. The most challenging part of my job having to deal with an employee who is short paid and dealing with an employee who refuses change especially the older generations

Excellent learning curve
I have gained a lot experience as i had to answer calls and call potential client, data capturing, filing, receiving orders and making sure there are correct from supplies, helping students fill in correctly MERSETA forms, making sure students have all the necessary tools,equipment's and making sure they had all the correct PPE

Scaw metals is a good company
Working at scaw is great and there a room for growth as an intern and we learn so much in a short period of space and the mentors they are good. what I enjoy most is that I come to work and I do what I went to school for and am given a chance to prove my self and to improve my skills and knowledge.
