APPRENTICE FITTER
I was working as an apprentice fitter over four years but now I am a qualified mechanical fitter and I am looking for a position available in your company. I am friendly person who enjoys maintaining a good relationship with everyone. I am a team player. I am a fast learner and can anticipate the future. I am able to work breakdown, shift and under pressure.

Excellent skill developing
Worked 3 day shift it has some challenges based on transportation but I've managed when time goes on, we were working as a team as we were operating big mechine it required 5 people, i can say i am a team player and a leader, in manufacturing process time its critical and raw materials must be used correctly to avoid unnecessary costs
Pros: Company does give their employees platform to become better than were they are.
Cons: Working on weekends and long hours

Exposure to different fields of work metallurgy, water care and chemical analysis
Great management and fair working hours Week day only With wide range of work to do, one never gets bored of work Exciting place with nice co workers and good mentor Learnt great presenting skills and communication skills Enjoyed learning different fields e.g Hydrology and matellurgy Challenge was transferring knowledge to operators that has been working there for decades, because they feel they is nothing I can share that they don't know

Excellent learning curve
I normally work 9 hours,my day began at 7 am havjng to gather data to report at the production meeting on the quality of products produced the previous day . Then work on the plnned schedule of what is to be done for the next 24 hour production. The day is spent going through all production and doing qualitychecks and reports. I had a great relationship with coworkers ,mostly learning from them as they have more experience. Most challenging aspect is when u have to work long hours when breakdown take place and making sure production continue as scheduled. I enjoy most about my job wheni get to interact with production personnel to meet dajly targets.

Good working environment to gain experience
Scaw metals group is a well known producer of steel raw materials which supplies companies with different products produced. It consist of more than 7 units plants that produces different products. Being an apprentice at scaw metals helped me gain a lot of experience from different department, from rolled products to grinding media experience.
Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Work 40 hours a week plus standby allowance and a lot of overtime when ever it's needed

Learning curve
Given me a great deal of experience, knowledge and I'm grateful for everything. It's like my second family. Enjoy working with a creative team, under pressure and face new challenges.

Good learning environment
Daily duties water, coal, Iron ore and wheel train analysis. Data analysis, report writing and results compiling including data filings ily duties aily

Started working at scaw as an apprentice in 2010, it's an excellent company to work and learn.
I enjoy doing my job at scaw metal so far, it's a very challenging industry which requires team work. We always plan our jobs in advance as we do a lot of maintenance every week. I also do standby and sometimes work on weekend when work is required.

Cons: I also sometimes work for long hours when ask to do so.

Improvement learn skills
Under pressure company working conditions and with good working co-workers There is alot most challenging jobs. I enjoy working with the people that have motivation thinking’s and appreciate people. I have learn alot and have alot of experience
