I have the relevant experience in the Logistics/Supply chain/Warehouse Industry

Select PPE is the Sell the personnel protective equipment to all the mines in South Africa, including Zambia, Botswana, Berkina Faso, I have been with the company for more than 10 years and I have all the requirement needed in the warehouse industry, I was also deployed to Russia to incorporate our warehouse with one of our European warehouse System in 2016, I am responsible for 40 employees reporting directly to me, I am responsible for full logistic function of the company, doing export and import for the company.

Pros: I started lower in the company and have been promoted from Issuing clerk, Warehouse Coordinator, Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager
Cons: I am working long hours and responsible for opening and closing of the warehouse

Fast paced

Select ppe is a fast paced growing organisation. For me a typical day is pre planning, validating and getting orders loaded onto the vehicles for delivery to the customers. Urgent order for despatch as well as queries are dealt with. My co workers know I am always willing to assist and go the extra mile, even going out of my job job description as despatch clerk.

Pros: Incentive monthly bonuses based on targets met

Each of us has a part in the company's success

My typical day consists mainly of reviewing figures and strategizing on how to increase sales, the day-to-day operations of a retail store, overseeing salespeople, customer service representatives and other employees, preparing schedules and assign duties for current employees. All of the colleagues I have worked with have shared a very respectful relationship with me. We have similar goals, and we exchange knowledge to accomplish those things to the best we can. Each of us has a part in the company's success, and we utilize communication to make it happen I had to approach an underperforming employee. I gave them a plan. Within a couple of weeks, their performance improved. I learned that how a manager handles mistakes impacts themselves, the team, customers, and your company. In addition, the approach they used should be thoughtful, reasonable, and habit-changing. I enjoy seeing my staff grow and seeing the results have a positive effect on business.

I want to Explore other business enterprise

I have been with the company for more than 10 years, I have worked hard to be a Manager, I am responsible for all the Logistics operations of the whole company including Africa. I have been Deployed to our Mother company in Russia during the year 2016 to incorporate our South African Company to be inline with the European business enterprise. We selling the Protective Equipment to all the mining industry in South Africa, Zambia, Botswana and to the public.

Excellent learning curve

Very fast paced envirement. I learned a lot, also got opportunity to learn in most deparmtmers. I enjoyed my job a lot because there was always opporrtunity to learn. And thw fact that we disnt do the same thing everryfay.payments of mass
