Was good working as a team. Hard working and work under pressure . as a police officer you have to lead by example in the community, you have to uphold their safety and security as it is our first priority by combating crime, prevent crime, and also enforcing the law.

I am a dynamic female that is qualified to head up a challenge.
My day starts off with my morning emails checks and allocating work for the day as i run the region as coordinator. Followed by my morning Greetings to all around me with my coffee of course. Settled in I coordinate events for the region ranging from Tree planting events to customer and sales events. I just love meeting new people and interacting with them, knocking heads to get stuff done but all with humbleness of being a good person. I have learnt that not everyone is on your page and not everyone will jump to requests we have to be patient and do alot of follow ups without becoming a nuisance. i enjoy event coordinating because it challenges me and i love the success after . The most challenging part of my job is working alone in the region, if i had a few hands to help me i will definitely lesson my stress. Overall i am a bubbly, energetic lady.
Pros: I am blessed to have a job as i am a single mum with a downsyndrome daughter
Cons: my day starts really early so i will have to say the long hours

I have developed my skills in liaising with the community within/outside my voluntary.
Volunteering at SAPS as a Sector Crime Forum was good. It has taught me a lot. How to deal with pressure, how to deal with different people or situations. The challenging part of my work was when we caught the criminals in action, because we didn't know if they were armed or not. I have learned to observe before confronting or facing the situation. But most of all i enjoyed working with people and serving the community. And that's what I do best.
Pros: serving the community makes you the important and well spoken by many. no promotions but I developed a lot
Cons: I was working from 20:00-5:00am the next morning abd that was the longest working hours.

Excellent learning curve
Working and communicating with clients making sure we reaching the standards. The relationship I have with my colleagues firstly our communication is the key, also teamwork brings success into the company. I also learned how to deal with difficult employees and customers and to manage and solve conflicts. What I enjoy most is when we reach the target of the day.

Flexibility to explore different areas of work
i have been given an opportunity to explore different areas of work. juniors have the priviledge to work in senior positions for experience i have gained a lot of experience in customer service and strategic planning and project managing

I would like to know if I'm being paid the right salary
I work Monday to Saturday with no bonus and no leave.just one off a month and we are being abused every time by our Manager she calls us by every kinds of words and tells us that she will fire us.

Great opportunity growth and technical enrichment
Excellent exposure environment, New thing everyday, never a dull moment. Learned a lot from a disciplined , hardworking and technically strong Boss. Again learned a lot from Human Resources and technical challenges I'm confronted with on daily bases, and still learning. Many opportunities to grow the business and turn it around with backing from Government, and bit of customer service training of employees . Intervention from Executive management and good leadership of labour is imperative.
Pros: Great opportunity to learn and variety of challnges.

Great exposure to board interactions
I have gained great experience in a very short space of time on operating at a National level. I have had to acquaint myself with operations’ details that have led to an increase of 16% performance in mail delivery within six months. This required winning over my team quickly and taking them with me, together with making a lot of unpopular changes to enforce accountability SAPO wide. I rose to the position of acting Chief Operations Officer with the departure of our CEO in July. This has exposed me to board interactions as an acting Director to the board of SAPO. The changes placed on accountability have led to an unprecedented overall corporate performance increase of 17% in two months. This performance improvement is now set for an over increase to 30% in the next two months.

Innovative Change Agent
I have keen interest in strategic objectives implementation. I carbon management programs in a filed of construction. I also have managed to include environmental management system ISO 14001 philosophy within the company. I am dynamic and follow up on ideas and turn them to add value to the company and it's customers.
