Excellent learning curve

Although it was an excellent learning curve I found that the Management were not very computer literate. Lacked Management skills and treated their staff poorly. However this is not the group but the store only. Excellent staff.

Pros: opportunity to learn about retail
Cons: no private life

Its was educational

Opening / closing store, interview, stock rotation, manage 60+ staff, oversee store operation, assist on rolls at busy times, maintenance, staff manament, stock control, place orders with suppliers and DC. Oversee bakery and kitchen orders are on time

Pros: Good work experience
Cons: Poor senior Management, no team work, no concern over staff wellbeing

Excellent learning curvecurve

Not a bad company to work for but individual store have poor training or no training to staff. Poor Management but good non Management staff. I found it a bit of a racist store and favouritism of some staff over others ruled.

Pros: Great staff easy to work with
Cons: long hours, poor Management, racist when it came to promotions

Excellent learning curve

Although a good group to work for the store I worked for I found that training was substandard, poor Management, no controls, poor method of stick control,. They showed favouritism towards some staff and held others back. I found the store to be a bit racist

Pros: great staff
Cons: 14 days on before a weekend off, no opportunities, racist, disgusting staff resting areas
