My job was to assist passenger check them in for there flight and everyday i work with different teams then we use to share better ideals and it was good to work with people that they understand you even if you're off they miss you because the way you respect the biggest things i learn is don't undermine others and respect everyone equal and the most challenge that i get is if you're not focuse you will get into troubles

Good experience

Whilst working at Swissport I was exposed to a lot such as conducting the recruitment and selection process. Issuing of warning,grievances as well as gathering necessary documents for a disciplinary hearing and sorting in on the process. Despite being in on that I was in charge of the uniform departments and was also able to create job descriptions for the restructuring of the company and help with amendments on company policies.

Pros: Great opportunity to gain skills and knowledge
Cons: Not enough remuneration

Good communication

My name is Dinah and I'm interested on serving my experience with fly Safair crew,i have 12years in the Aviation industry as a flight supervisor,i supervise loading and offloading of Baggage,mail and Cargo on the flights,i comply with safety,i also make sure that the flight depart safely and on time.I have load control certificate with Emirates ,I also have ramp agent certificate with Lufthansa,I can load all types of aircraft,I'm a humble and passionate person,I'm also punctual.I've acted as a Duty Manager for 9 months.I like communicating with people as Aviation is all about,communication. Thank you

Fast learning at work

I am a very hard working person, capable to work individual and using my own initiative.i am very honest, reliable, willing to learn and achieve the highest degree of excellence on my own work. Warehouse operational standard

In warehouse, there is a specific space for specific item according to its labeling and stickers. There are dangerouse goods, fregile and heavy pieces. I received different training on DANGEROUSE GOOD, HANDLING,HEALTH AND SAFETY and Exports and Imports. The operational system used by cargo controllers,warehouse manager and supervisors allowed me to gain access in developing myself not only knowing how to be a good forklift operator but also to know a system.

Pros: Knowing the system as a cargo controller.

Earning excellent Communication skills

What I enjoyed most at my previous job was that I had to interact with new people every day. I enjoyed seeing a customer walking away with a smile on their face, this has made me gain confidence about my job. The most challenging part of my job was that I had to work shifts, so as a student who never worked before I struggled so much to clock in at work at 4am.

Excellent learning curve

My work day is always busy , however the people I work with makes it worthwhile. I have learnt how to be a leader and work in groups. We deal with different airlines such as Safair and Lufthansa and our job is to make sure that the flights are always ontime.

Cons: Long hours but there is no room to grow

Great working experience

Over the years i have over came many obstacles with regards to life and work which enables me to work under extrem conditions ,deal with unexpected situations and lastly please clients .
