Start a artisan training center from scratch to fully function training institution within 2 years. Develop all training material for courses and approved by the QCTO.

great company to work for unfotunatley they have no business and needs to retrench.Enjoyed my work experience as i learnt alot. They have also looked after my finaacial well being.

Excellent
I help out temporarily with quality data books. My experience in working with my fellow staff was outstanding, fun and energetic. I learnt a lot whilst dealing with this type of work and would have definitely stayed with them if it wasn't that the contract ended.

Learning curve
I am able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. To submit monthly safety reports in time. Able to meet 90% of our safety target's with full support from all managers and employees .All this are possible through team work.
Pros: Opportunity for promotions where there even thou the company was struck by country economy.
Cons: Working independently over the weekend

Team work. Àble do safety training and coaching to all levels. Do gap-analysis to identify any skills or training required. Ensure risk identification, analysis,ranking is well done. Workplace is źoned and marked safety signs awareness are placed on the correct places. Risk assessments, safe Operating Procedures and PlanTaskObservations are done and reviewed . Updated incident register, inspection registers and checklists. SHE meetings are held and minutes signed. Relevant appointment letters and competence filed. Updated audits requirements done. Monthly safety report discussed with relevant managementsystem.

Important factor in workplace safety is team work. Winning support from both management and the employees. Bringing awareness and commitment to both stakeholders to achieve our safety target's. To be part of the solution to problems that's pose risks to employees. Enforcement of compliance with the OHS act. Be able to encourage management to invest money in safety. safety programme to be established.Ensure training and coaching is done. Do Gap-analysis and motivate for training.

Election of the green team members. Ablea to compile SHE files for our clients. Keeping all safety records updated like incident register. Register with DOL for online register. Implementation of ISO 14001, 9001 and OSHAS 18001. Risk assessment, safe Operating Procedures and Plan Task Observations. Medical register system updated. Monthly safety report to be presented to management. Accuracy of safety statistics.

Excellent learning curve
Newly qualified fitter 3yrs post apprenticeship currently on a six month contract as a trainee fitter at a service centre in chloorkop... gearbox repairs, stackers n reclaimers, bearings seals alignment drawings etc

Learned a lot now I can build a flender combiflex gear box with no doubt Am very greatful for the opportunity that Thyssenkrupp has given me and had faith in me, so am keen to do any job perfectly.
