Excellent learning curve

It's very useful to work shifts, it prepares me for my permanent job also the training is relevant. I gain much experience. Working for different plants helps with various knowledge on different machines. Learning to be as fast as I can and working under pressure attending breakdowns helps a lot.

Pros: Great opportunity for training
Cons: Long working hours

Excellent learning curve

Toyota Motor SA is a world class industry that encourages the development of its employees with internal an external training based on the work we doing as maintenance team. We have incentives bonus on a a three months basis with transport allowance for once a year. When it comes to the discussion of break downs everyone's opinion is valued irrespective on onces position. Team building is encouraged throughout the plant and centralized gymnastics for all the member of the organization to allow us to engage more with members from different departments.

Pros: Great opportunity to growth
Cons: Long working hours

Good learning experience

It's enjoyable provided you do different things daily, relationship with co workers is good, i Have learnt to run production, obtain experience in mechanical and electrical aspects of the company as an apprentice... The challenge part is being under pressure and under constant scrutiny

Pros: Growth opportunities are visible
Cons: Long hours less pay

Experience

I appreciate the experience and opportunity that Toyota has given me, I have learned to be a team player. to take the business as my own. to work and respect my work and colleagues the appetite to serve. to challenge things the way they always been done by coming up with effective ideas that will grow the business. I have learned to be assertive and to be transparent. The most thing I enjoyed about my work it allowed me to grow and to learn about the business as a whole. Being a all rounder has made me understand the business and to respect other people's work. currently i"m at Creditors and I enjoy reconciling the account and dealing with payments. The most challenging part in my Job was reception, I don't like to sit and answer phone calls I want to resolve problems I fond reception very boring

Pros: Development
Cons: 8 hours

Below is my review

I came to Malelane in 2015 from Johannesburg, it was quite a change in more ways than one. I started off assisting with bad debts when i arrived here and then i took over the debtors book. Whilst learning about debtors, i did some courses on NCA, FICA, FAIS etc and then my interest grew on the Compliance side and i decided to study further to get my Compliance Certificate. This has taken me in completely different career angle and opened many other doors for me which are quite exciting. Legislation is huge and changes so often, its really challenging to keep up with it, but i enjoy it and i see the bigger picture with regards to why we should comply. I love working with the sales people and F&I's and i love the responsibility that comes with my work.

Pros: Very interesting line of work.
Cons: Trying to get people to buy into it.

Rather not

I've learned a lot about sales business, that it's all about the client. I've learned that this business is all about confidence in your product. I wish that the company could invest more in its staff, in terms of training.

Pros: Great co workers
Cons: Long hours
