Toyota Sa Motors Reviews

Great start to my career

I have been working as an Apprentice for more than 3 years till present and I excel in communication skills and able to workwell with or without supervision. I see myself as a hard working individual and also a proactive team player. I am used to working under pressure and I never give up on a task until it is finished or a problem at hand is resolved. I am always up for a new challenge. I am a person who is willing to learn new things that will help me and the company grow and also assist the others with a bit of knowledge obtained over the years. Even with any kind of failure that I may experience in my life, I never give up, I always pick myself up and go back and try again until I get it right. I now work as a qualified apprentice in different plants at Toyota SA Motors learning on the job experience as a millwright candidate.

Pros: Willing to learn and upgrade my knowledge and skills
Cons: Committed to whatever it takes to get the job done

Greatest opportunity in my Engineering career

I believe myself to be a team player who is always willing to support and share experiences. I am also fortunate to be part of a team that shares the same views as I. Our office is project management oriented, and by so being, it gives opportunity to having us being pert of new equipment installation and commissioning. We have the luxury of interacting with various suppliers and contractors. Health and safety is also a big part of what I do. In never having the opportunity of working underground, MECS would offer a huge opportunity for me to also enhance my Engineering exposure, to the point of having to attempt the Mines GCC exam.s.

Pros: Very diverse Engineering exposure
Cons: Authorisation for required processes can take long for project environment.

Driven enthusiastic

I have an ability to think on my feet, at the same time coping with mental demands of the job, being a problem solver and having the capacity to handle greater mental demands in my role with that required extent of driving change in the organization. I am an enthusiastic man possessing diverse skills, while also driven by a willingness to learn. I easily adapt to individual or group work as I have practical experience in both conditions including very good communication skills, written and verbal. As a team player, I share my skills as well as acknowledging new skills learnt in practical experiences. I take each task as important, work with commitment and appropriateness to achieve overall organization goals and objectives. Throughout my career, educational and work, one has manifested in a passion to make positive change in peoples lives and the organization one finds himself in.

Pros: Good perks
Cons: No growth within organization

Excellent learning curve

Working shifts and in teams. Team work is encouraged because we learn from our artisans everyday. We do electrical, fitting, welding, etc. Actually when it comes to mantainance the artisans are very good and that's what we learn from them. Punctuality is the most important issue. Being at work on time, doing start up before shifts is important and the PM's are very important.

Pros: Knowledge of work
Cons: Long working hours

Keen to secure an entry-level role within Engineering Field, which will provide opportunities for further development and progression.
