Great I'm spearheading new technological advances

Great company to mark a mark in and partake in technology changes. The work done has international reach and the company has won a lot of accolades I'm the past. Work life balance is poor as the company refuses to employ more people on the premise it does not want to retrench people.

Pros: Leading new technology drives
Cons: Poorly resourced in terms of manpower leading to too much work and long hours

I learnt that as an individual you work with different people and working with different shifts as well as team work and working as a team is key than working alone

Learnings and thinks I enjoyed Leadership agility To be leaders that we would like to follow, act, think and do things differently Always approach business in a diverse global mind set Interaction with different level within the organisation including the Board of Directors Organisation open for ideas and innovation there is no hierarchy and protocol but working as a collaborative team to deliver on the strategic goals of the company The most challenging aspects of the job Decisions takes longer and impacts delivery

Airport Operations

Managing an array of functions including Airport Operations (Landside, Terminal, Airside), Maintenance and Engineering, Fire and Rescue, Security, Customer Services. No day is the same, although the work involves planned airport operations activity, dealing with people/cutomers (as passengers), people / stakeholders (as airlines, ground handlers and other airport operators) is ever changing. As a manager of the bigger part of the airport, mantainng a good working relationship and understanding with direct and indirect reports is key to success and delivering as expected.

Pros: Variety in everyday challenges and solutions.
Cons: May have reached the ceiling within current operations position.

Excellent company to work for

Top employer indeed - amazing company to work for and great leadership. Policies and delegation of authority clearly outlined and an enabler as opposed to ot being a stumbling block as in other state owned companies.

I am looking for new opportunities, challenges and growth.

I am a team player and get along with everyone at work. I have learnt to be patient, understanding, very accommodating, listen and to be emotional intelligence. I enjoy being able to practice self-ma agent, proactive and learning from others. The most challenging thing is to ensure that risk registers are submitted on time and the data is reliable.

Amazing learning experience with a lot of passengers

I feel the airport is great place to learn to work under pressure and also learn how to solve passenger queries.this has helped a lot in terms of wanting to get more information and also know the operations of airlines in order to give precise information and also solve problems effectively and efficiently. The colleagues are very supportive and energetic because dealing with things like medical emergencies you need to work hand in hand with colleagues and stakeholders and so being I've never had to struggle.

Cons: Management does not consider employee concerns
