Team Player

I am a 40 years old African male, with 17 years’ experience in my career. A Diploma graduate in Transportation Management, I worked for Aviation Company for 15 years as a Scheduling officer. I got high standard and level of good work ethics and through my career I have gained skills such as time management, on time performance, advance customer care. My computer skills are update hence I do hold a Diploma in Business Computing. I have learned a lot from my company, and I have also grown in the company. We're customer service company, also have to monitor clients tracking vehicle. And make sure the clients are happy with our service. We provide service both national and international. L

Netstar is a great company.

Netstar has been the best place for me. I had so much to learn and i dedicated myself to doing exactly that. I took any opputunity to explaose nyself in any department and learn and act. I have no regrets and given a chance i would go back. Company is best for young people still trying to understand the corporate world while getting paid and be responsible adult. It is not best to stay and try build uourself within. There is no growth.

Pros: Great opputunity to learn about the industry.
Cons: Not a best place to stay long. There is no growth with in the company

How Its was for me

I started as a customer service consultant and thoughout the years I touched on various departments like creit control dealing with client account queries, MD's office handling client complaints, Retention department there are was retaining clients, technical department assisting client with technical problems on their ADSL line and data connections and worked a the company retail consultant mainly doing what I mentioned above face to face with clients. The environment was very nice and we worked in teams of 13. Even the management made it to be a fun place to be in since it was like we spent 80 percent of our live there and I love the fact that I got to work in almost all the departments as it made me know a lot of people in the office which made my job even easier because I would also get assistance from other departments

Pros: The salary was good and people were always enthusiastic about working there and it was a stable environment to work in. Management treated their employee like family than just employees
Cons: The hours were long, and most people didn't have full access right systems so that gave more work to people like me who had full access system as I worked there for over 5 years

Review

my typical day at work includes making sure tat our infrastructure is running perfectly by monitoring any errors that might affect work flow. The culture at my work place is very diverse and i enjoy that. I enjoy the fact that i get to learn new thing and concept everyday. for example finding a new way of resolving everyday issues pertaining technology. The most challenging aspect of my job is making sure that i avoid down time as much as possible.

Extensive experience in Customer Service and basic Office Admin.

Very busy call centre inbound and outbound therefore one is constantly on the phone, attenting to customers every service needs. I like the spirit or team work , we worked well together in order to get the work done. The company has actually moulded me to be the person i am today . I have aquired all these skills i have today.
