Acting as a supervisor when he is not at work
I am working at accounts payable , and we have deadlines in everything we do, I am team player, I can work independently, I don't need supervision to do my job, I communicate very well with colleagues.
Pros: You get sent to training for any related courses that can build me better.
Cons: We don't have over times but some other Saturday we come to push some work.

A typical day at AngloGold Ashanti
A typical work day would include me arriving at work and checking mails from the previous day and compiling a to-do list for the day. We would then go downstairs to the canteen for breakfast with colleagues for a few minutes. After breakfast I would have a one on one session with my manager to see where we are and what needs to be done. I will create PR's, process ADSL claims, do cost reports etc. We have lunch from 12 and after lunch I finalise what ever was on my to do list in the morning.
Pros: Learning different things everyday and how other departments function

Excellent learning curve
My Current role entails managing treasury front & middle office functions related to governance and compliance processes; risk management & treasury dealing activities. Treasury dealing activities are inclusive of commodity, FX & money market dealing as well as structuring & hedging activities in the same markets. I have extensive experience in treasury functions including risk management, trading & hedging activities and a deep understanding of financial markets. I have extensive experience in building a treasury function (Policy, Framework, Procedures) and knowledge of front-to-back business and system processes related to trading and treasury activities.

It was a start to great things, learned a lot in that company
I had a great interactive relationship with my co workers. The day started with clearing the rest of yesterday work if there was some left and being ready of what the workload the foremen will bring and printing work oders, capturing them. Doing general admin work for the Office. I learnt to well under pressure and taking an extra mile in my work. I enjoyed interacting with the artisans, control room operators as well as the foremen. The challenges were having some of the work orders not filled in correctly and having to return them back and getting lost in the process as at first we had no plan in curbing such.

Assisting Senior EVP’s with HR queries.
AGA is a massive company with over 10000 employees internationally Most experience is mining and manager know nothing about HR and do need thorough assistance with HR related matters and I’m able to assist them with ease and confidence

I was doing my learnership for Rigger/Ropesman
I did some of this jobs Assist with preparing a hoist rope test Specimen, Inspect a safety detaching hook, identify faults on ropes, winch a load into a tower, check and maintain lifting equipment, worm parcel &serve a rope, splice a non-spin & steel wire rope using Liverpool and admillarity method And I worked overtime with out getting paid for it. I've enjoyed working at the Plant & in the Shaft, tha was a great experience for me Truly speaking I enjoy working with a team and I'm a friendly person plus I can work under pressure Thank you

Excellent learning experience
The team pushes you to your greatest potential You feel included in everything they do The Financial Manager gives you the same work load as if you were a permanent worker
