We conduct health research in the community and provide them health services

 Responsible for recruitment of participants and provide them with health services e.g. o TB vaccination and HIV vaccine  Compiling reports; i.e. o weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually  Data capturing: o Ensure proper collection of data and completion of the required information o Maintaining forms, receipts, logs, control records and etc.  Staff management i.e. o Planning and daily task designation.  Follow-up on participants to ensure study completion o Retention of participants, home visit and contact  Office administration and operation related duties. o Photo copying, scanning and fax document o filing, taking minutes and preparing for meetings  Perform HIV testing and counselling o Conduct health talk on HIV& AIDS and TB o Community education and outreach activities

A good learning organization but salary and perks are quitenegligabr

HR is fast growth area within this particular arena and having been in the arena I have insights on how to curtail high employment costs and the staff high turnover. Am a firm believer in a robust environment I enjoy engaging with participants in the field so as to improve the functioning of both the company and the Dept of Human Resources.A day in my employment entails read all available mails, divide them on urgency basis. Clearing all outstanding recruitment matters ,preparing reports for my director-and to seek all issues to CCMA and deal appropriately with those people concerned. I interact easily with my co workers and quite upfront on issues and belief in an approach that clear matters

Excellent learning curve

I work normal 8 hours which Its enjoyable but strainers at times when it comes to deadlines. I have a great workable relationship with all my co workers and we even talk outside of work environment. I have learned more about team work and how good it is to work worked to achieve a common goal for a company to move forward I enjoy the management style they use and how we treat each other as a family. the most challenging aspect is dealing with all the data and only to get other data coming late and you have to rush the dead lines

Excellent developmental skills

I experience an 8 hour working day and sometimes travel a lot to service different institutions. There is a lot if interaction with different people in my current line of work. I enjoy working with the data if the institutions I visit and how they are updated and the Link between electeonic and paper records.

Pros: diversity in what one can do and opportunity for growth
Cons: at times there is very little to do

Independent working condition extra working hours with no pay mentoring and facilitation Excellent work with exceptional colleagues hotels and lodges time and again work and play frequently

My work experience

Working at aurum gave me the opportunity to interact with people and assist them by helping them to help themselves I learned team work and integrity. I was based in facilities so that challenged me to learn things out of my work scope just so I get to assist people and upgrade my problem solving skills, I learned to work effectively and efficiently under pressure. I learned to deal with my own emotions to avoid conflicts with clients.

Great opportunity to grow

ngo supporting Department of health through health systems, research, direct service delivery. great company that can be a stepping ladder. the company have expanded over the years, typical 8 hours shift, relationship with colleagues great, enjoying travelling.

i work under a health institute its a non government institute we collect data from the facilities for an overall stats , weekly , monthly , quarterly and annualy for our funders.
