Human Resouces Management

On a day to day basis I was dealing different internal and external stakeholders and I have learnt to deal with all kinds of people especially difficult employees and clients. I have I enjoyed being a liaison between my employer and the department of health discussing positive contributions to the health of South Africans.

Excellent learning curve

My company is a very good company it pays well.I love what i do analysing data. Data cleanups instalation of new sysytems. File audits in hospitals and clinics. Presentations of all findings to the staff in all clinics in hast review, that we usually have on quiterlly basis in the whole sub district of Ekurhuleni. Doing Hast monitoring following and tracing of patients. Monitoring and evaluation of data. Making sure that is of good quality for reporting to the next level of reporting. Collecting dispatches on monthly basis. Monitoring daily capturing making sure that our data is trustworthy.

Excellent learning curve

its a normal 8-5 job good working environment its an industry where you can grow as a person I enjoy that all people are so friendly and helpful team work its practiced and I have a good working relationship with colleagues there are more trainings in this jobs the challenging part its dead lines

Skills

Working at Aurum institute and Groblersdal hospital taught me a lot about data, data quality, validation rules and how to identify gaps and filling them up, I have gained lots of knowledge and skills at these two institutions and I personally believe the teamwork skills and knowledge I have gained will help me in this post.

Excellent learning

I'm hard worker and I like to manager people and to work on any interesting projects. I like to work with people who are Hiv posetive. TB and STI management I also like to work on a group but I can also work as individual.

Dynamic work environment

My typical day involve facility visit to support the team that works in the facilities. I would review each employee daily and weekly performance, for instance for each Lay counsellor in the facilities I would reviews the number of patients tested daily and if those that tested positive were linked into care by the clinician. I would also clarify any queries raised by operational team and escape where appropriate. I have learnt to work in a multi-disciplinary team. The thing with working for the Aurum is that members of the team depend on the other to achieve their key performance activities. So teamwork is a big thing here. With each team, there are many dynamics that sometime can be challenging to work with, however as the lead I try by all means to manage and resolve conflict and motivate the team to see the bigger picture.

Exceelent learning curve

Working for Aurum has been an eye opener, facility that i am working in is very busy so in that way you learn new things almost everyday. you must be very observant and vigilant when enter data asour facility is being visited regurlarly by the funder. relationship between the co-worker is good we work as team aurum and DOH staff. i believe some of the targets set up bythe funder are unrealistic.
