Cashbuild is a hardware selling hardwate and construction matirial. I was privepidged to have worked there and gained sobmuch expirience. Everyday is a hard working day because there is always a customer that needs something or even sometimes tries to be impossible The people i worked with is verry friendly and can sometimes make you feel as if you are not at work. That helps alot.

Excellent learning curve

It's an good company if you want to gain experience but u don't see it as a career path it's just something to get me started while i seek out better opportunities. Well the work is nice overall and i love my colleagues.

One get to grow within the company

Build cutomer service, management training, supervising cashiers at the tills, dealing with difficult customers. I get to file creadit payment, banking, remittance advice. It is very challenging job cause you get to multi task, while busy with paper work you also have to attend to custoners and the paper work need to be done at a time frame given. Making sure that the store is ready for business before the next day. Dealing with difficult staff members making sure they get their work done in time.

Pros: Great opportunity cause you get to grow within the company
Cons: Long working hours

I'm a fast learner and hardworking person and I've learned how to work as a team

Bad treatment and have favourite employees we must be treated equally and work as a team and they always pointed us with fingers and always give us warning letter that we didn't obtained

Pros: I will be glad if your company can give this opportunity to show my skill

Best company one has ever worked for.

No time for yourself , family and friends.Pressure and workload escalates but no salary adjustment.Relationship with staff is good but not with senior management, otherwise enjoyed being groomed to where I am today.

Pros: I have worked through the positions from cashier to store manager in a blink of an eye
Cons: 10 hrs a day and recording 8 hours on attendance register which is something that promotes stress and demoralises people/staff.

Great experience

I learned lot of things through customer service, first aid end control function, dealing with customers, working as team work, doing cash ups end helping manager to do orders and do follow ups. It was a great experience I got ...

Learning abd growth oppurtunity and company very large

Company very large but only catrr for those who have been there gor may years .company goves opwers sometimes to managers that does abuse those powers . And they end up loosing good emoloyees cause off this .

Great team to work with

I hereby extend my application for branch manager position. I am currently working at Cashbuild as a trainee Divisional Manager. I have also studied and completed a degree in Applied Communications management at University of Fort Hare. I have extensive managerial experience and knowledge. I have good business minda and i am able to turn loss making stores to profit making stores. I am willing to move to CPT as my family is also in CPT. I would also want to improve my career aspirations.
