department of agricuture is a public organisation that work with rural development and other organisation. the department assist famer farmers to be productive and increase employemnet in order to elliviate poverty.as my self i worked as a sernior advisor to farmers

Vegetable, fruit production Management and also afro processing will be excellent learning curve
I've been in farming since high school and during my time of studying ive realised how much Agriculture is important in our country's economy. I'm now a masters graduate in Agricultural Management measured in Agronomy and Horticulture with university of limpopo also crop protection was one of my modules. Food security is now the most important concept in terms of Agriculture, so to be part of finding other ways to produce more food under the climate change will be one of my major goal and also to be in the real world of farming will be excellent learning curve for me. I've worked at the research council (ARC-GCI) as a research assistant whereby I was responsible for planting seedlings, plating out, disease identification, media preparation, soil sampling, and maintenance of seedlings in the greenhouse within crop protection section.

Good learning experience
I learned a lot and I was able to discover my abilities and weaknesses. I was mostly exposed to teaching about nutrition of the commodities that we were processing and I wrote reports. We used to work extra hours since I was at a provincial office of the department at Cedara.

Receiving request and distribute them to where they belong
The working days is from Monday to Friday the work start at 8;45 to 4;00 every day Monday to Friday. My relationship with my co-workers is too good we love each other and we easily help each other with any information based to work. I have learnt a lot like working under pressure, communication skill, working in team, invitation of quotations, chackling .verifications of tender documents .The work that I enjoy the most is the tender advertising and verification ,receiving request memos ,The challenges is to work without earning .
Pros: The is too far from town and i have to wake up early
